摘要

本研究第一章探討本研究之動機與目的和相關文獻；第二章分析觀光賭場對於城市發展在政治、經濟、社會文化與環境的影響；第三章與第四章分別以拉斯維加斯及澳門作個案研究，分析兩座城市發展博奕產業對其城市發展的影響,以印證第二章觀光賭場對於城市發展在政治、經濟、社會文化與環境的影響；第五章針對拉斯維加斯及澳門進行SWOT分析，歸納出兩座城市的優勢、劣勢、機會與威脅，進而提出本研究之主要發現與研究建議。

The first chapter of this research was to explore the motives and purposes of this research and related literature. Chapter two was to analyze the impacts of casinos on urban development in the following fields: politics, economy, society, culture and environment. Chapter three and chapter 4 did the case study of Las Vegas and Macau respectively to analyze the impacts of casinos on the urban development of two cities to prove the conclusion of the chapter two, the impacts of casinos on urban development in the following fields: politics, economy, society, culture and environment. Chapter five was the SWOT analysis for Las Vegas and Macau and summarized the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the two cities. Chapter six presented the main findings of the research and the research recommendations.
