本次研究旨在探討台灣製造業與服務業廠商進行之創新活動對於創新成果成效的影響,研究樣本利用2007年「台灣地區第二次產業創新活動調查研究」的資料。我們選取其中有進行技術創新的廠商共3,574家,利用問卷中所定義,共十項廠商的創新活動與最終所獲得之創新成果,使用Multivariate Probit Model進行分析。 結果發現,不同的創新活動對於四種創新成果都各有一定的影響力,且綜合而言對於四種創新成果皆有正向的幫助。其中較重要的是「公司內的研發活動」,也就是大眾熟悉的R&D,對於提升市占類創新成果皆有顯著影響,另外最重要的是在「人員培訓」的部分,不論是製造業或服務業對於四種不同的創新成果皆存在有利的影響且大部分皆為顯著,也顯示出人員素質對於創新的重要性。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between innovation activity and outcome. The data pool was drawn from Taiwan Technological InnovationSurvey 2(TTIS-2) which is jointly collected by the National Science Coucil and the Ministry of Economics Affairs. We selected the firms which have technical innovation and there are totally 3,574 firms. By the definition of TTIS-2, there are ten type of innovation activity and we use Multivariate Probit Model to analyze the relationship of the ten type of innovation activity and innovation outcome. We find that the fact Internal R&D is positive and significant on Market Share Type Outcome. The another important finding is about Staff Training. The factor Staff Training is mostly and strongly significant and positive on all four type of innovation outcome both in Manufacture Industries and Service Industries. It also implies the importance in the quality of human capital.
