大氣中二氧化碳等溫室氣體的濃度急遽增加,所產生的溫室效應成為全球性環境問題 。本文旨在探討加強柳杉人工林集約經營對二氧化碳吸存的效能,首先,藉由模擬不同林齡、疏伐強度、疏伐次數及輪伐期實施疏伐的林木收穫量,及其相當之碳吸存量。其次,估計不同疏伐作業成本並扣除林木收穫收入所得之淨成本,再比較不同疏伐作業每一公噸碳吸存成本,以選取對於碳吸存最具效能的疏伐方案。 本研究顯示輪伐期35年時,疏伐增加的單位二氧化碳吸存之約當年金成本,視作業方式每公噸成本介於430元至435元不等。然而,輪伐期50年時,單位二氧化碳吸存之約當年金成本則介於每公噸413元至425元之間。
The carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in atmosphere have increased rapidly, and cause the serious global environmental problems. Therefore, this study, on the basis of effectiveness of forest management, will design different thinning regimes to reduce the carbon dioxide in atmosphere, and evaluate these regimes by net cost effectiveness analysis. The result showed that when the final harvest implement at 35 years. The annuity costs of carbon sequestration in the study assume is 430-450 NT/ ton. However, it shows that the average cost of carbon sequestration reduces to 413-425 NT/ton when the final harvest is 50 years and thinning practice increased from one time to two times.
