生物醫學產業之競爭策略與商業模式分析

摘要


生物科技相關產業被視為二十一世紀最受期待也最具爆發性的產業,其所涵蓋的範圍相當廣泛,而其中又以生物醫學產業的潛力與產值最大。在競爭激烈與進入障礙高的生物醫學產業中,企業所採取之競爭策略和商業模式將決定其成敗與否,因此成為本研究所關心的議題。 本研究對象包含藥廠及以醫療製藥為主的生技公司,研究內容首先進行生物醫學產業分析,觀察產業的發展歷程、現況,從產業結構與價值鏈切入,探討產業創新所帶來的價值,競爭策略的運用,以及生醫品牌的重要性。其次,嘗試找出生物醫學產業的發展趨勢,從產業商業模式的轉變演進、產業群聚效應,以及產品與技術的不確定對產業的發展多面向的研究。最後歸納出生物醫學產業的最適競爭策略以及產業發展的關鍵成功因素。

It is universally acknowledged that the industry concerned with biotech will be the most powerful and profitable in the 21st century. The scope of industry concerned with biotech is extremely enormous, such as pharmacy, bio-pharma, medical devices, agriculture, heath care, etc. In the viewpoint of the market value and potential, the bio-medical industry , including pharmacy and bio-pharma, will be much more important and competitive. As the result, the essay attempts to focus on the analysis of competitive strategies and business models for bio-medical industry. The process of essay research consists of three parts. First, it begins with the architecture of bio-medical industry by analyzing the value chain, the innovation of products and process, the competitive strategies, and the banding strategies among the industry. The second part is the trend of bio-medical industry, including the progression of business models, the cluster effect, and the uncertainty of products and technique. In addition, the third part is conclusion and suggestion. Finally, it is hoped that this essay might be some contribution to study the drastically progressive bio-medical industry.
