蘇雪林的生命歷程及作品研究 ──以《綠天》與《棘心》為討論中心

清末民初之際，中國社會因受到西方的影響而產生了重大的變革，這股顛覆傳統價值的力量進而促使新女性的現身。隨著女性意識的覺醒，文壇中形成了一個由蘇雪林、陳衡哲、廬隱、冰心、凌叔華、馮沅君、石評梅等人所組成的五四女作家群體，她們在各領域取得卓越的成就，是中國第一批接受現代教育的女性知識分子。本論文的宗旨即是要探討蘇雪林從傳統閨秀到成為五四女作家的知識啟蒙過程，其中採用了文本細讀的方式來分析《綠天》和《棘心》，並以《我的生活》及《浮生九四——雪林回憶錄》為輔助資料，為求能更完整地呈現蘇雪林早年的生命經驗及其人格特質。論文遵循由外而內的研究步驟：第二章著重於歷史文獻的解讀，筆者爬梳近代中國婦女運動發展之脈絡，進而探討五四女作家群對自我價值的追求；第三章及第四章則是文本的分析，筆者將1928年及1929年出版的《綠天》和《棘心》與1955年及1957年再版的增訂本做比較，從中探討蘇雪林改寫作品的意義，再借助原型理論建構文本中的女性主體意識；第五章則以敘事學理論探討蘇雪林自傳書寫的敘述視角及人物形塑。作為一本討論作家生命歷程的論著，本論文力求在客觀陳述上建立具史料依據的主觀見解，並企圖從近代中國的發展脈絡中釐清時代、作者、作品與讀者之間的關係，以補充蘇雪林研究上的成果。

My research concern with about Su Xuelin. The life of Su Xuelin as a new modern Chinese woman is a part of modern history. She careers as a writer and literary scholar is closely entwine with the latent history of religions in China. Therefore, an exploration of her life story may help us understand the role played by women's experience and gender perspectives in the modern Chinese formation of religion. The thesis is divided into six chapter. Chapter 1 gives a brief of introduction to research purpose, research object, research overview and research methods. Chapter 2 discuss the feminist movement in modern China. In Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 we focus on Su Xuelin collections, especially her autobiographical Green Sky and The Bitter Heart. Chapter 5 shows the characteristics of narrative writing from Su Xuelin. At last, Chapter 6 lists out the major conclusions arrived in this work.
