Improve Screw Production Process Using Experimental Design Methods

摘要


本論文針對STC球化爐生產螺絲線材的過程中產生脫碳、抗拉強度不穩定等情況進行分析了解,並謀求改善。我們首先收集數據,應用統計分析方法,篩選重要因子及設定因子水準,先進行部分因子實驗設計建立最適模型,再透過反應曲面設計方法找出因子的最適設定水準為施工配方。將得到的最適配方與舊有的配方進行比較後發現本研究找出的最適配方可以有效地改善製程與提升良率,客戶後續加工使用後也發現根據新配方生產的產品品質更加穩定,成功地降低了退貨率。

In this thesis, we study the quality improvement of fastener wires in the spheroidization process of using the roller hearth short time cycle annealing furnace (STC). First, we screen key factors and decide their levels through using statistical methods. Then, the fractional factorial design method is used to determine the optimal model. The optimal treatment is searched by using response surface methods. The performance of the obtained optimal treatment was compared with the existing treatment for production. We find that the proposed optimal treatment can reach a significant improvement for the quality of fastener wires, and the yield of fastener wire products is successfully enhanced based on using the proposed optimal treatment than using the exiting treatment.
