副乾酪乳酸桿菌副乾酪亞種NTU101調節腸道蠕動功能之研究

摘要


乳酸菌是益生菌的一種,會代謝醣類產生乳酸,簡單來說就是能增進腸道健康的一群微生物,具有抗氧化、抗過敏、抗發炎及提高腸道機能等功效。本研究擬探討給予健康人Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei NTU 101 (副乾酪乳酸桿菌副乾酪亞種NTU101菌株) 乳酸菌之補充對腸胃道蠕動功能之改善。本試驗共計52位健康之受試者 (男生17位,女生35位) 全程參與,採隨機雙盲、安慰劑對照設計。實驗期間共6週,分為兩組,一組服用益生菌4週,另一組服用安慰劑組4週,而後2週皆為追蹤期。試驗期間,分別測量體位、尿液、糞便及血液基本生化值、檢測小腸排空速度及飲食紀錄及問卷。結果顯示,每人每日食用NTU101益生菌(食用菌數單位為1x1010CFU),連續食用四週後,可以顯著增加血液中免疫球蛋白G (immunoglobulin G,IgG) 及免疫球蛋白M (immunoglobulin M, IgM),顯著提高血漿中總抗氧化 (trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, TEAC) 能力及穀胱甘肽 (glutathione, GSH) 含量,顯著降低脂質過氧化物(thiobarbituric acid reacting substance, TBARs),顯著增加紅血球中穀胱甘肽氧化酶 (glutathione peroxidase, GSH Px) 及穀胱甘肽還原酶 (glutathione reductase, GSH Rd)等抗氧化酵素之活性。另外,小腸攝影檢測結果也顯示,食用NTU101益生菌可以改善小腸排空的速率,顯著縮短腸道中食糜通過時間。由本實驗可以得知,以NTU 101益生菌介入,確實具有增強免疫、提升抗氧化活性及改善腸道蠕動功能等功效。

Lactobacillus is a type of probiotics, which metabolizes carbohydrates to produce lactic acid. It also shows the promotion effects on intestinal health, antioxidation, anti-allergy, and anti-inflammation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the regulatory effect of Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei NTU 101 on the intestinal peristalsis. Totally 52 healthy subjects (17 males and 35 females) were included in a randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled design study. During the 6 weeks experiment, all subjects were divided into placebo and experimental groups. The first four weeks were the interventional period, and the rest two weeks were follow-up period. During the test, the anthropometric test, urine, feces and basic blood biochemical assay, intestinal emptying scan, dietary records and related questionnaires were collected. Results showed that 4 weeks consumption of daily NTU101 (1x1010 CFU for edible fungus) significantly increased serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) and immunoglobulin M (IgM). In addition, the trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) and glutathione (GSH) content significantly increased in plasma, and the thiobarbituric acid reacting substance (TBARs) was reduced. Both activities of glutathione oxidase (GSH Px) and glutathione reductase in erythrocytes (GSH Rd) were also increased. Intestinal photography clearly showed that consumption of NTU101 greatly improved the intestinal emptying rate and significantly reduced the chime through intestinal time. We conclude that NTU 101 consumption may enhance the immunity, increase the antioxidant activity and improve the intestinal peristalsis function.
