探討新住民數位發展對主觀幸福感之影響

摘要


目的 新住民已成為國內第五大族群,他們移民到臺灣面臨許多生活適應的問題。本研究目的在探討影響新住民主觀幸福感的數位發展及相關因素。 方法 本研究係利用國家發展委員會於2020年完成之「新住民數位發展現況與需求調查」進行次級資料分析。研究自變項包含基本人口學、數位福祉及生活適應與增能需求相關變項。依變項為主觀幸福感,區分為幸福與不幸福。以次數和百分比(N,%)描述新住民數位發展及各變項分佈情形,並以邏輯斯迴歸分析影響新住民主觀幸福感的因素。 結果 研究結果顯示年齡(45-64歲v.s.小於45歲, odds ratio[OR] =0.595, 95%confidence interval[CI]=0.374-0.947)、臨時工作型態(OR=0.502, 95%CI= 0.286-0.880)、經濟困難者(OR=0.219,95%CI=0.105-0.454)、印尼籍(OR=3.063,95%CI=1.086-8.641)、居住在數位發展程度3級或5級區域地區者(OR=0.498,95%CI=0.308-0.803及0.427,95%CI=0.191-0.959)以及沒有使用即時通訊(OR=3.177,95%CI=1.374-7.343)、網路購物但遭遇困難者(OR=0.241,95%CI=0.105-0.555)、從未在線上檢索健康相關資訊者 (OR=0.433,95%CI=0.291-0.643)、不容易取得母國資訊者 (OR =0.458, 95%CI= 0.288-0.728)顯著地影響新住民主觀幸福感。 結論 幸福是人生的願景,是我們窮極一生追求的目標。臺灣是一個多元文化的社會,隨著新住民的增加,我們必須正視新住民議題,尊重文化差異,學習如何彼此相處。本研究發現年輕的新住民、有固定工作、自給自足且有固定儲蓄、國籍為印尼籍、居住在1級區域、沒有使用即時通訊軟體、曾網路購物且無困難、有在線上檢索健康資訊及容易取得母國資訊者覺得比較幸福。本研究結果可以提供政府制定合宜的政策、提供必要的協助,讓新住民能生活得更加快樂與幸福,成為臺灣蓬勃發展的資產與助力。

Objective Taiwanese new immigrants have become the fifth largest ethnic group in Taiwan. They encounter many problems of adapting to Taiwan. The purpose of this study was to explore the factors that influence the subjective of well-being of Taiwanese new immigrants. Methods The "Survey on the Status and Demands of Digital Development of New Residents" completed by the National Development Commission in 2020 was used in the present study. Logistic regression analyses were conducted using the variable “how would you rate your current life?” as the dependent variable. Indipendent variables include demographics, digital development and variables related to life adaptation and empowerment needs. Results The results indicated that age (45-64 years old v.s. less than 45 years old, odds ratio[OR] =0.595, 95%confidence interval[CI]=0.374-0.947), temporary work status(OR=0.502, 95%CI= 0.286-0.880), economically disadvantaged (OR=0.219,95%CI=0.105-0.454), live in a digital development level 3 or 5 area (OR=0.498,95%CI=0.308-0.803及0.427,95%CI=0.191-0.959), Indonesian (OR=3.063,95%CI=1.086-8.641), those who did not using instant messaging during the past 3 month (OR=3.177,95%CI=1.374-7.343), who have ever shopped online but encountered difficulties (OR=0.241,95%CI=0.105-0.555), people who have never searched for health-related information online (OR=0.433,95%CI=0.291-0.643), and those who can access to home country easily (OR =0.458, 95%CI= 0.288-0.728) were significantly affects new residents' perception of happiness. Conclusion Happiness is our vision and it is the goal we pursre through our life. Taiwan is a multicultural society. With the increase of new residents, we must pay attention to the issues of new residents, respect cultural differences, and learn how to get along with each other. The results of this study found that young new residents, have a regular job, are self-sufficient and have regular savings, are Indonesian, live in a Tier 1 area, do not use instant messaging software, have shopped online with no difficulty, and have access to online health information retrieval and those who have easy access to home country information feel happier.The results of this study can provide the government to make appropriate policies and to provide necessary assistance, so that new residents can live happier and improve the well-being. Let Taiwanese new immigrants become an asset to Taiwan.
