臺灣公私立大學圖書館空間設計之研究

A Study on Library Space Design of Public and Private Universities in Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在通過對大學圖書館空間設計之原則及物理環境之設計重點,探討臺灣公私立大學圖書館空間設計之現況,并加以比較、分析與修正。從而更加深入地了解大學圖書館空間設計需要進行的思考,并提出一些具體建議,希望能對未來大學圖書館空間設計提供參考。 本研究的調查對象為臺灣北部某公立A校、北部某公立B校、東部某公立C校、桃園某私立D校、中部某私立E校五所公私立大學圖書館,訪談對象為大學圖書館館員。通過實地觀察設計現況與受訪者的敘述對該圖書館空間設計之原則與重點進行檢核分析。在資料分析上,主要以描述性方式記錄。 綜合文獻探討與研究結果的內容,整理出如下結論: 一、臺灣公私立大學圖書館空間設計基本滿足文獻典藏、訊息整合、文化交流及文化 休閒功能,著重點各異。 二、臺灣公私立大學圖書館空間設計基本符合設計人體工程學、體驗營銷、環境心理學、 學習心理學、美學、學校建築學。 三、臺灣公私立大學圖書館空間設計原則基本上以靈活性、共享性為主。 四、臺灣公私立大學圖書館物理環境之設計重點以自然採光為主,在其餘設計重點上着重點各異。 五、需修正的學校圖書館(A校總圖、E校總圖)較缺乏彈性靈活空間設計和色彩設計。 最後將根據文獻與研究結果發現,提出以下幾點建議: 一、A校總圖與E校總圖增設共享空間,進一步拓寬場館文化交流與文化休閒功能。 二、A校總圖、D校總圖可進一步豐富空間之多樣化設計與創造性設計。 三、A校總圖可進一步提升人工照明之合理性。 四、B校新圖、E校總圖需完善自然採光設計。 五、A校總圖、E校總圖需加強彈性靈活空間設計,其餘三校需改進的部分各不相同。 六、圖書館應適當反思與重新定位以因應大學教育之變革趨勢。

This study probes present situations of space design of public and private university-libraries in Taiwan, making comparison, analysis and revision by principles of university-library space design and emphasis of physical environment. Then I make a further understanding of consideration about university-library space design and provide some specific proposals as reference for university-library space design in the future. The respondents of study are five public or private university-libraries in Taiwan, i.e., public school A in the north, public school B in the north, public school C in the east, private school D in Taoyuan, private school E in the middle, with the librarians as interviewees. The principles and emphasis of university-library space design are reviewed and analyzed by observing the real circumstances of design and narrating of the interviewees. In material analysis, records are mainly descriptive. Based on the literature discussion and conclusions of this study, the following conclusions are summarized: 1.The space design of public and private university libraries in Taiwan approximately meets the functions of document collection, information integration, cultural exchange and cultural leisure with different emphases. 2.The space design of public and private university libraries in Taiwan basically conforms to the design ergonomics, experience marketing, environmental psychology, learning psychology, aesthetics, and school architecture. 3.The space design principles of public and private university libraries in Taiwan are mainly flexibility, sharing. 4.The emphasis of the physical-environment-design of the public and private university library in Taiwan focuses mainly on natural lighting, while the rest of the emphasis lie on different points. 5. The libraries that need to be modified (General drawings of School A and School E) comparatively lack flexibility in space design and color design. Finally, based on the literature and research findings, the following suggestions are proposed: 1.The general drawings of A and E add Shared space to further expand cultural exchange and cultural leisure functions of the venue. 2.The general drawings of A and D can further enrich the diversified and creative design of space. 3.Furthermore, the general drawing of A can improve the rationality of artificial lighting. 4.The general drawings of B and E need to improve the natural lighting design. 5.The general drawings of A and E need to enhance the flexible space design, while the contents of the other three universities to be improved are diverse from each other. 6.University libraries should reflect and reposition themselves to correspond with the evolving trend of university education.
