The purpose of the study is to stimulate the peripheral nerves using Pulsed Radio frequency (PRF). PRF has been used to block the dorsal root ganglia (DRG) and sympathetic role in clinical. The traditional low-frequency transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation cannot effectively stimulate nerve because of epidermal impedance is too high. In addition to electrodes, electro-acupuncture (EA) use the PRF can be better and more lasting results. This study uses Pulsed Radio frequency (PRF) in the clinical, stimulates surrounding nerves and reaches the goal of easing chronic pain by Electrodes and EA for stimulate the peripheral nerves of treatment. This PRF peripheral nerve stimulation is mainly divided into three parts; one for the BOOST converter decides PRF Amplitude, another for the impedance measurement, and the other for MCU control and calculates data. There are two channels in PRF while stimulating, one for the Rectified PRF, the other for the Tradition PRF. BOOST converter decides PRF amplitude, and achieves the purpose of current control and impedance measurement by the current measurement circuit consisted of OPA and resistance. Finally, data value will be displayed on LCD through MCU computation. Last, we cooperate with doctors of Taipei City Hospital to conduct human trials, validation our method on treatment for chronic pain by these human trials.
