數位家庭影音介面使用性評估之研究

摘要


介面是資訊提供者與使用者溝通的主要橋樑,由於資訊科技發展迅速,家庭影音介面在業者不斷嘗試各項新興應用下,擴展至數位單雙向的互動行為,未來家電產品數位化程度日漸提高,在數位播放傳輸管道成熟下,使用者在面臨操作使用性時,若能進一步轉換使用經驗的操作模式,對有利於家庭影音介面設計中使用性、易讀性、結構化的影響,不論何種播放平台,其友善、簡易的介面設計,都將為由早期市場進入主流市場之重要成功關鍵之一。 因此,本研究首先分析現有影音介面形式後,加以改進新影音介面階層作為實驗樣本,將受測結果,利用產品操作績效實驗分析出性別、經驗、介面之間是否有顯著關係,並將最後問卷評估數據結果加以解析後提出建議,訂定出影音軟體介面設計原則。本研究歸納出以下幾點結論: 1.圖片評估的結果顯示,受測者在經驗、性別操作上有顯著差異,有經驗女性操作時間較短來完成任務。2.音樂評估的結果顯示,並沒有因為經驗和性別而有所差異;反之女性在操作不同介面是有所差異;在音樂模組的操作時間是以改良式介面(W介面)效能最佳。3.電影評估的結果顯示,已有使用經驗的受測者具有操作上的優勢。4.影片評估的結果顯示,在不同介面間的操作時間差異上,已經達到顯著水準。P介面在性別操作上是有別差,男性所需時間大過於女性操作時間;女性在操作I介面是最花費時間。

User Interface is the communication mean between users and information providers. Because of the fast developing information technologies, home entertainment user interface designs had been applied with many innovative attempts for one-way or two-way communication. The digitization of home electric appliances will be booming in the future, and the digital broadcast channels will be matured gradually. Though users are still facing the interface usability issues for operating applications, the designs of user interfaces can be improved with the feedbacks of the user behaviors. By improving the user behavior models with past experiences, home entertainment user interface designs can benefit from past user interfaces’ usability, readability, and structures. Moreover, the friendliness and the simplicities of user interface designs are the keys for boosting the products into the main stream of market sales even at early stages. Therefore, this study will emphasize on the current audio-visual interfaces and the improved interface models. The results will be evaluated with the relations between gender, experiences and the user interfaces. Furthermore, the test results will be the basis of the suggestions, which can be utilized for new design rules of audio-visual user interfaces. The conclusions are listed below: 1. Evaluation of graphics: Gender and past experiences play a major usability differences. Female with past experience can accomplish tasks more rapidly. 2. Evaluation of music: Neither gender nor any experience can affect the usability. In contrast, female with different interface achieve tasks differently. Also, improved interface (Interface #W) has better performance results. 3. Evaluation of movies: Users with past experiences have more advantages toward operating applications. 4. Evaluation of video clips: Different User interfaces affect the performance time remarkably. Gender is the key of performance for Interface #P; i.e. Male testers take more time than female testers. Females tend to take more time when accessing interface #I.
