電子書閱讀器的換頁模式對閱讀與搜尋績效之影響
The Effects of Page-Change Types on Reading and Searching Performance for E-reading Machine.
摘要
資訊充斥的年代，人們皆有接觸過不同的高科技產品來進行瀏覽、閱讀、收發資訊的經驗。數位化閱讀成為新生活趨勢的時代，如何在享受現今高科技產品帶給人們新的體驗下，又能讓使用者更有效率的使用、不造成使用者的負擔，為本研究主要探索之問題。本研究透過電子書的換頁模式，探討對閱讀及搜尋績效之影響。研究結果發現：本研究所歸納出三種換頁模式中，翻頁模式的閱讀績效與搜尋績效皆為最好的，但也是受測者主觀認定會影響（干擾）閱讀的模式；而主觀感受偏好最高的是滑動模式，但驗證的結果其績效卻是最差的。最後，本研究提出，保留傳統書籍閱讀的翻頁習慣，以翻頁模式使用至數位閱讀換頁模式的介面設計考量上，對於閱讀的成效是有幫助的。

In the era of electronic information that prevails worldwide, people have much experience in taking advantage of versatile high-tech products for the purpose of perusal, reading, receiving and sending their messages. When electronic reading is becoming degree by degree a trend towards new fashion life, it constitutes but a main exploratory issue in this study, how to not only rejoice the users from the modern high-tech products bring them in consequence the brand-new perception, but also let them use those apparatus more efficiently without any burden imposed upon them. This study intends to explore to what extent the application of “Mode of Page Change” in E-book system gives influence on the reading performance and searching performance. As result of the study, it demonstrates that, among three “Modes of Page Turn” is the best with aspects of reading performance and searching performance; meanwhile, this very mode is recognized subjectively as the one which can influence the user tested in reading. As for the “Mode of Page Slide” originally subjectively preferred by the user, its performance in reading is verified to be worst. At last, it is recommended that to extend the traditional “Mode of Page Turn” in E-book reading into the electronic reading and skillfully is capable to improve the performance of reading.
