二人與四人之個人桌面領域基礎研究

摘要

日常生活中都有與人共用同一張桌子的狀況，每個人都會習慣性的把屬於自己的東西放在身旁四周，以避免侵犯他人使用的空間，也可分別自己與他人的物品。而人們也會使用具代表個人的物品來標示「屬於」個人的所有權，以告知他人該位置已有人使用。而這種個人歸屬的行為模式，是人們本能性去宣稱以及防衛的個人空間領域。
本研究藉由不同桌型、人數的變化，探討受測者對標示物（水杯）於桌面不同位置的認知，分析個人桌面領域及非個人桌面領域的範圍大小。實驗以32位受測者，兩種桌型，分出五種不同的使用形式進行實驗，分別為方桌：90cm（L）×90cm（W）×75cm（H）、長桌：150cm（L）×90cm（W）×75cm（H），長桌並分為長短兩種邊長進行。並在桌面放置水杯，以方桌 16 個點、長桌32個點，讓二人與四人受測者同時坐於桌邊進行觀察後填寫問卷。實驗結果利用卡方檢定得知：個人桌面領域的變化因受測者對坐或左右側而影響領域的大小。數據並顯示受測者對坐時，領域大小維持在桌面中間，桌子面積大小變化後，對縱深影響不大，但對個人桌面寬度領域的變化影響較大，且桌面積越小其影響就越大。另外，個人桌面領域的範圍與受測者的距離越遠，其對此範圍的肯定程度會降低。且受測者對於右側的領域肯定度高，越往左側肯定度越低，若桌型變大及左右側有另外受測者時，個人領域及肯定度僅會向左增加。

In usual, when people share a table at the same time, they will keep their own stuff around to avoid the touching of the other people’s space. That’s easier to distinguish the things which belong to them. Besides that, people also use the representative sample to show the seat or space already taken. These kinds of behavior all come from instinctive personality.
In this study, we actually have 32 experimenters helped on this research by using two types of tables, 90cm (L) x 90cm (W) x 75cm (H) square table and 150cm (L) x 90cm (W) x 75cm (H) rectangle table, with two or four people sitting arrangement to permute to five kinds of condition. Furthermore, we putted one cup on square table for 16 times and rectangle table for 32 times, then asked experimenters to fill in the questionnaire with “yes” or “no” of cup positions which they thought the cup might be theirs. By doing this, we could get the results of experimenters’ personal territory.
According to χ2 test and compared with each condition, we get the results that people’s personal territory on tables will affected by the other experimenter sitting on left, right or opposite seat. If condition of experimenter has the opposite sitter in two or four people test, their personal territory in vertical depth, even table size changed, almost keep half on the table, and horizontal length affected in positive proportion. The personal territory will also influenced more seriously in smaller size table. Besides that, the right and closed field of experimenter’s personal territory always strongly affirmed than the left and far one. If table size changed or experimenter company with left and right sitter, the personal territory will only increase to left side. That means compared with left, the experimenters are very sure the areas of right territory which should belong to them.
