職場情緒是近年來持續受到關注的議題,特別是企業主管除了要面對不同公司激烈的競爭外,在組織內部也必須承擔不同的壓力,這常常迫使主管不僅表達正向情緒外,也會表達出負向情緒。然而過去的研究多探討主管正向情緒表達,對於主管負向情緒表達的琢磨較少。因此,本研究選定負向情緒-生氣,並以實地法兼採跨期的方式,探討主管表達生氣是否會透過提升員工工作奉獻、個人創造力與工作壓力,來對員工工作績效造成影響。 本研究以台灣地區36家公司之41位主管與175位員工為研究對象,採用SPSS12及LISREL8.72進行統計分析。結果顯示主管表達生氣與個人創造力具有正向相關,個人創造力與員工績效具有正向相關,表示主管表達生氣將會提升員工對創造力的努力,進而提升工作績效。另一方面,主管表達生氣與工作壓力具有正向相關,工作壓力與員工績效具有負向相關,顯示主管表達生氣也會使員工工作壓力提高,造成心理或生理面的影響,使工作績效下降。
It has been concerned about emotional issues of workplace in recent years. The managers need to face external violent competition among companies, and simultaneously internal different pressure of the company. It forced the mangers display not only positive emotions but negative emotions. However, there were few studies investigated the negative emotional display of the manager in the past. In our field study, we focused on the specific emotion — anger — to explore whether the manager displays anger would impact employee’s performance through the job dedication, creativity and job stress. Data were collected from 41 managers and 175 employees in Taiwan, results showed that creativity was positively related to manager displays anger and employee’s performance. In addition, job stress was positively related to manager displays anger and employee’s performance.
