北北基地區國民中學教務主任人格特質與工作壓力之研究

A Study on the Personality Characteristics and Job Stress of Junior High School Directors of Academic Affairs in Taipei Metropolitan Area

摘要


本研究旨在瞭解北北基地區國民中學教務主任的人格特質傾向與其工作壓力,進而探討不同背景變項教務主任的人格特質差異及工作壓力之差異,並探討北北基地區國民中學教務主任的人格特質與工作壓力之間的關係。 本研究採問卷調查法,以北北基地區國民中學教務主任為研究對象,採普查方式共計發放200份問卷,回收188份,回收率94%。研究工具為自編之「北北基地區國民中學教務主任人格特質與工作壓力之研究調查問卷」,所得資料以描述性統計、單一樣本t檢定、獨立樣本t檢定及單因子變異數等統計方法加以分析,研究結論如下: 一、 北北基地區國民中學教務主任人格特質以「親和性」最高,其次為「嚴謹自律性」。 二、 女性的北北基地區國民中學教務主任人格特質中「嚴謹自律性」、「外向性」顯著高於男性教務主任。 三、 北北基地區單純國中教務主任人格特質在「嚴謹自律性」及「經驗開放性」傾向顯著高於跨學制學校教務主任。 四、 北北基地區國民中學教務主任工作壓力源以「工作負荷」為最高,其次依序為「專業知能」、「內在衝突」、「上級要求」、「人際關係」。 五、 40歲以下、3年以下教務主任年資之北北基地區國民中學教務主任感受較高工作壓力。 六、 不同年齡之北北基地區國中教務主任「工作負荷」、「專業知能」及「內在衝突」上有顯著差異。 七、 不同「擔任教務主任年資」之北北基地區國中教務主任,在「專業知能」、「人際關係」及「內在衝突」上有顯著差異。 八、 高度「親和性」、「嚴謹自律性」、「外向性」人格特質傾向的北北基地區國民中學教務主任之工作壓力顯著小於低、中度該人格特質傾向者。 九、 低度「神經質性」人格特質傾向之北北基地區國民中學教務主任,工作壓力顯著小於中度「神經質性」人格特質傾向者;而其中度「神經質性」人格特質傾向者工作壓力顯著小於高度「神經質性」傾向者。 十、 中度以上「經驗開放性」人格特質傾向的北北基地區國民中學教務主任之工作壓力顯著小於低度「經驗開放性」人格特質傾向者。 依據研究結果,分別對北北基地區教育主管機關、學校校長、國民中學教務主任及未來研究者提出具體之建議,以供參考。

The purposes of this study were to investigate personality characteristics and job stress of junior high school directors of academic affairs in Taipei Metropolitan Area, and to explore the differences of demographic factors on Personality Characteristics and job stress. Furthermore, This study was devoted in the relationships between personality characteristics and job stress. A questionnaire survey method was used in this study, 200 copies of questionnaires were sent and 188 valid copies were collected. The returns-ratio was 94%. Descriptive statistics, independent sampled t-test, as well as one-way ANOVA were conducted to analyze the result. The conclusions were as follows: 1. Among those five aspects of personality aharacteristics, " Agreeableness " came out at the top, followed by " Conscientiousness ". 2. Female school directors’ "Conscientiousness" ," Extraversion " were significantly higher than male school directors. 3. In terms of "Conscientiousness" and "Extraversion", directors of normal junior high school were significantly higher than those of complex High school. 4. Among those five aspects of job stress, " Workload " came out at the top, followed by " Professional Knowledge ", " Intrinsic conflict "," authority request ", and " Relationships ". 5. School directors of academic affairs who under 40 years old and 3 years of experience had higher levels of job stress than others. 6. Junior high school directors of academic affairs with different age were significantly different in Job Stress. 7. School directors of academic affairs with different years of experience were significantly different in the perceptions of job stress. 8. School Directors of academic affairs with High levels of "Agreeableness", "Conscientiousness" and "Extraversion" perceived less job stress than those with low to moderate levels. 9. School directors of academic affairs with low level of "Neuroticism" had less job stress than those with moderate level. In addition, school directors of academic affairs with moderate level of "Neuroticism" perceived less job stress than those with high level. 10. School directors of academic affairs with a moderate to high levels of "Openness to Experience" had less job stress than those with low level. Based on the results of this study, suggestions for Education authorities, school principals, junior high school directors of academic affairs in Taipei Metropolitan Area, and future studies were purposed in order to enhance more efficient educational outcomes of academic affairs in junior high school.
