This study aims to investigate junior high school teachers’ perceptions of how important it is to implement the All-out Defense Education in Taipei City. Questionnaires were distributed to a total of 820 secondary school teachers in Taipei and the overall retrieval rate was 84.76%. The results of the survey are as follows: 1. Teachers view the All-out Defense Education as fairly important. 2. There was a difference in teachers’ perceptions of importance toward the All-out Defense Education by district and different administrative background. 3. The degrees to which the teachers with Master’s or doctoral degrees consider the curriculum and teaching of the defense education program were higher than those with a bachelor’s degree.
