The dissertation on the study of the operating efficiency of main airports in the world No matter what strategy alien ,that must have high-efficiency air transportation service .Therefore, to develop the plan of Asia-Pacific of airport center, and that is the core of government policy. The study on the operating efficiency of 20 main international airport in the world. We use DEA methodology to find the proper management way. The empirical results as following: 1. As far as BCC model concerned , we found (HKG)airport, (ORD)airport, (LHR)airport, they are more efficient than others. As to CCR model, (LHR)airport of the efficiency is more efficient than others . 2. The empirical result of slack variable analysis, we found the part of the improvement of efficiency that we must do is the variable of parkland. If we improve the efficiency of parkland, we could add the operating volume. Moreover, we can upgrade the operating efficiency. 3. The analysis of returns to scale on empirical result found the airports of(CDG),(BRU), owing to the operating scale of the airport has exceeded the optimal scale. That must sacrifice some way of efficiency, and endure the result of the decreasing returns to scale. 4. The (TPE) airport of evaluation on BCC efficiency, CCR efficiency, scale efficiency is good status, and the return to scale is on constant phase. But on the application of (FPI)analysis, the variables are on the stage of false efficiency. The continuous studies could add many variables, such as operating cost, the measure of area of building and boarding gates. Considering them would make the studies more robust.
