由於台灣半導體產業占全球半導體產業的比重相當高,隨著國際化競爭激烈,以及大陸市場的開放,為了鞏固台灣在全球IC產業的地位,台灣IC廠商絕對不能輕忽產業聯盟合作及技術創新及策略重組的重要性。以前的研究中,多只研究IC產業的內部策略,或是探討科技產業之間的策略聯盟情形。本研究歸納出IC企業之技術創新策略類型,並探討IC產業要如何結合外部環境策略(產業策略聯盟),配合內部技術創新策略,增強產業的技術能力,進而提高企業競爭優勢。以及IC產業運用技術創新策略與產業策略聯盟後,帶來附加價值為何。 本研究採用深入訪談及個案研究的方式進行,依據工研院IEK-IT IS出版之2004半導體工業年鑑所列出之IC產業之次產業排名前十大排名之企業作為研究對象。本研究分成三個構面:1、技術創新構面;2、產業策略聯盟型態;3、企業競爭優勢,前兩個構面影響第三個構面。依據此三構面發展初步命題,再配合實證研究後,建立新命題與結論。 根據本研究結果發現,技術創新策略需增加一個變項--「技術投入風險評估與績效」。產業策略聯盟會因產品生命週期不同,而採用不同的合作型態。導入期時,IC產業最適用技術開發聯盟;成長期時,IC產業可藉由策略聯盟方式,達到規模經濟的效果;成熟期時,與上、中、下游廠商皆需緊密合作,提升品質與降低成本;衰退期時,策略聯盟型態以行銷、服務聯盟為主。企業在衡量其競爭優勢方面,企業的「風險管理」與「危機處理能力」,亦是提昇競爭優勢的來源。
Taiwan takes an important position in worldwide industry. Because the international competition and China makes market open to public access, the IC industry of Taiwan must to attach important to cooperate with the other industry and change the way of running the business. The technology innovation and using the strategy of innovation are very important to IC industry. In the passed literatures, most scholars discuss the internal strategy of the industry. They are also just discussing the condition of the cooperation, when the technology industry has the strategic alliance. This research will show the different type of the technology innovation strategy. This research also shows the IC industry how to use technology innovation strategy and strategic alliance to strengthen the competitive advantage of the industry. I will discuss the advantage of the technology innovation and strategic alliance. In this research, the ways of research are the interview and the case study. According to the project of the top 10 IC industry of the IEK-IT IS in 2004.I chose six IC companies to research. There are three research parts in this research. The first part is Technology Innovation Strategy. The second part is Strategic Alliance. The third part is Competitive Advantages. It discusses the Technology Innovation and Strategic Alliance affects the business competitive advantages. According to the three research parts, I research and test the subject and build new suggestions. At last, I will formulate new questions about technology innovation and strategic alliance. The result of this research, I find the new cause is “Risk Forecast of Innovation and Effect of Innovation”. The IC industry must pay attention to this cause. As different the product life cycle, the IC industry has the different type of the strategic Alliance. The IC industry has the technology development alliance in emergence of the product life cycle. The IC industry has scale economy in growth of the life cycle. The IC industry close cooperates with the other company to cost down in maturity of the product life cycle. The IC industry has sales cooperation and service alliance in decline of the product life cycle. The risk administration and the ability of dealing the difficulty are also the important causes to strengthen the competitive advantage.
