台灣高科技產業公司成長模式之研究-以「電子五哥」為例

摘要


本研究探討台灣高科技產業之成長模式,以「電子五哥」—鴻海、廣達、華碩、仁寶及明基五家台灣電子代工製造業中的典範為研究對象。就研發創新能力、大量生產製造能力、策略聯盟及併購擴張能力、產品組合增殖能力及品牌發展能力為研究探討構面。 本研究歸納出台灣高科技產業成長具以下特徵: 1.資源與能力之佈局,形成獨特之核心能力,而核心能力之一即為技術研發創新。 2.垂直整合程度高,追求規模成長與重視全球運籌能力,取得整體成本領先地位。 3.以轉投資、策略聯盟與併購方式,有目標和持續性的創業,多角化經營是趨勢。 4.產品多元化成長,擴張新市場。 5.以製造代工成就成長,並逐漸走向附加價值高的研發知識與品牌通路行銷。 研究結果顯示,「技術成長」、「規模成長」、「多元化擴張」、「產品增殖」及「品牌發展」為引導公司成長之條件。在資源與能力的整合運用下,形成其獨特能力,如研發創新能力、量產製造能力,策略聯盟及併購之多角化經營能力,以達成技術成長、規模成長與多元化擴張。並運用差異化與低成本策略,以完整供應鏈、低成本結構、彈性速度優勢及交貨品質,由分配價值走向創造價值與取得顧客信任。而產品多元化組合與品牌發展則為具體的成果展現,轉化為資本成長、營收成長、資產成長、獲利成長與淨值成長,進而再回饋、增進、創新其獨特之核心能力,彼此互為呼應循環塑造競爭優勢與維持成長。

The thesis is to research Taiwan high technology industry’s growth model. In this thesis, are the top 5 electronic companies, including FOXCONN, QUANTA, ASUS, COMPAL and BENQ, these are by far the best examples as research objects in Taiwan electronic manufacturing industry. This research ues case studies and focus on the following five elements: 1.The innovation research and development 2.The ability to mass produce 3.Investment, implement strategic alliance, merger and acquisition 4.Product mix ability of multiplication 5.Brand development ability This research has categorized the following features of Taiwan high technology industry : 1.Utilizing resources and capability to achieve the target business growth. Using core ability as growth foundation. However, one of high technology industry core ability is the innovation of its research and development. 2.High level of vertical integration, pursuing sizable growth and emphasizing global management ability to acquire the leading position on macrocosm cost. 3.Reinvest in companies that have clear achievable target, while able to sustain in a competitive environment. At the same time, implement strategic alliance and perform merger and acquisition, while diversify product lines. 4.Product diversification and expansion of new market. 5.Taiwan electronic industry mainly achieve growth by using ODM or EMS business model, then aggressively move to the following two examples: (1) Research and development and its intellectual property, (2) brand marketing. In this research, technical growth, scale growth, diversification expansion, product mix multiplication and brand development are the factors to growth. In the entirety, the integration ability of resources have become the unique aspect of the top 5 electronic companies, example, research and development, innovation ability, mass production ability, product diversification, ability to pursue technical growth, scale growth, diversification expansion. And also using diversity and low cost strategy to provide integrated supply chain, low cost structure, speedy delivery quality to create value and obtain customers’ trust. Product diversification and brand development becomes the clear result of the competitiveness and the growth of these companies.
