The study is provide a process of broadening cholesteric reflection bands of photopolymerizable cholesteric liquid crystal and the nematic liquid crystal . we found that these two kinds of liquid crystals were miscible over entire weight tatio .The chital pitch of the binary composite changed along with temperature . The desired color can therefore be set by means of temperature of the binary composite and fixed by exposure UV light . Form the reflection measurement of Spectrophotometer , the reflective wavelength band shifted form red to blue as the percentage of nematic liquid crystal decreased. It was found that the broad cholesteric reflective band of ray radiation was achived by adjusting the tatio of cholesteric liquid crystal to nematic liquid crystal.The cholesteric / nematic liquid crystal film whose band width cover the entire visible spectral region of light can be used as a single film or a combination of a number of layers of cholesteric polymers with different pitch.The optical multiple layers apply to enhance light film color filter of liquid crystal display.
