Most web collaborative learning systems offer convenient environment for learning, discussion, and performing group learning activities, emphasize the management of collaborative activities. However, few efforts have been made in collaborative learning systems to explore how cognitive differences among group members affect the effectiveness of collaborative learning. This project attempts to develop a collaborative learning system with schema of group construct awareness to understand the effect of different conceptive recognition in collaborative learning. According the result of analysis, teachers or systems can intervene group learning activities to mediate the resolution of conflict to promote the effect of web collaborative learning.
