目前量測電磁波能量吸收比值(SAR: specific absorption rate)是使用DASY4系統,但DASY4系統量測成本高及相當費時。本論文探討如何利用手機開發時之量測資料,如總輻射功率(TRP:Total Radiated Power)在Free space與Talk position之差異,歸納出快速的SAR量測預估法。 本論文使用四種不同型式手機(Bar type 、Clamshell type、External antenna、Internal antenna),在不同通訊系統(GSM、CDMA、WCDMA)透過電波暗室進行量測與分析,將所得量測資料取樣60個樣本點,利用本研究所提出的預估法加以驗證。結果其1g與10g SAR值均方根值與DASY系統的比較其誤差是3%(1g)和5%(10g)以內,在研發過程中,此微小誤差量是可被接受的。
SAR measurement always uses DASY system, but DASY measurement system is very expensive and spends long time measurement. So, we develop a new algorithm for estimating SAR. By applying the results (e.g. TRP:Total Radiation Power) measured in chamber in R&D stage. We get different TRP measurement results in free space and talk position. By applying these different TRP data to analyze and compile statistics a new algorithm. The accuracy of the algorithm has been demonstrated across different systems (CDMA-WCDMA) and for both 1-g and 10-g averaged SAR using a sample of 60 SAR measurements from 4 type mobile handsets. For the sample size studied, the root-mean-squared errors of the algorithm are 3% and 5% for 1-g and 10-g averaged SAR, respectively.
