過去以VR模型輔助客製化產品即時視覺呈現的研究中,強調動態更新VR模型中的幾何與外貌等內容,缺乏討論VR模型中動作行為的即時更新,但即時更新動作行為所提供的視覺呈現,能輔助於ATO產品客製化過程中展現產品的功能與特色,故本研究設計與發展一個擴充的VRML為基礎之VR模型,以此VRML為基礎之VR模型可支援ATO產品客製化視覺呈現所需之動態行為更新,本研究提出的擴充VRML為基礎之VR模型,包含ATO產品的VR模型樣板與模組VR模型,模組的VR模型是擴充VRML為基礎之VR模型中的動作迴路,將每一個完整連結的流程圖定義成一行為,並以行為種類做為特徵值做為行為之間的區別,而ATO產品的模型樣板則新增一類選項節點,選項節點在場景圖中動態管理模組幾何、外貌與行為等內容,在動作迴路中定義選項節點的行為需求,做為嵌入行為的依據,使得客製化過程中模組VR模型中的行為可動態嵌入動作迴路中的選項節點,以支援ATO產品之動態行為更新,達到視覺呈現ATO產品客製化過程的目的。
Previous research in applying VR model to support visualization of product customization process has focused on dynamically updating the content of geometry and appearance. They often ignored dynamic update of the product behavior. Dynamic generation and updating of product behaviors, however, are important in supporting visualization of product customization process. This research proposes an extended VRML model to support dynamic generation of ATO product behavior. The proposed VRML extension contains a VR model template for the ATO product and a set of VR models for the custom modules. Behaviors of the custom modules are labeled by their types. A new type of node, called option node, is proposed in the VR model template to represent the custom modules of the ATO product. The proposed VRML extension support dynamic generation of ATO product behaviors by inserting behaviors of custom modules that have the correct labels to the option nodes in the animation circuit of the ATO product.
