職能治療學系學生國家專業證照考試表現之相關因素探討

中文摘要 背景:相關醫療領域相關學習成效研究文獻回顧均發現:學業成績為通過國考的重要預測因子。而國內在職能治療國考相關或預測因素的相關研究十分缺乏。因此,本研究之目的為:(一)探討OT學生相關學習要素(性別、個人人格特質、入學管道、暑修、英文畢業門檻)與國家考試的相關性。(二)建立OT學生通過國家證照考試的預測模式,並深入了解其影響效果。(三)分析影響OT學生各學年學科能力與職能治療國家證照考試等因素間的關係。 方法:本研究為回溯性資料分析,共收集175位高醫大職能治療學系畢業生的人口學變項、個人基本學習因素分析。並使用結構方程模式分析各項學業成績對國考通過之影響徑路,並針對所建構之模式進行適配度考驗。 結果:本研究發現在不同入學管道的學生來源,以「個人申請入學學生」、「繁星申請入學學生」表現最佳。以通過國考的結果來分析,通過英文畢業門檻,未參與暑修課程的學生,其國考通過的表現較優異則達到顯著的差異。而學生之MAPA個性分類、性別在國考通過的表現上並未達顯著差異。學業能力的表現乃是與國考表現最具相關;畢業總成績高低對於國考通過與否不僅有明顯的關聯性,更達到顯著的重要性。   針對職能治療學系學生之學業學習成就表現,使用SEM模式建立學業成就模型,透過此模型的驗證支持,可以顯示課程規劃影響職能治療學生在國考表現的程度,進而確認職能治療學系的教學成效。 結論:藉由職能治療師國考模式的建立,可以更精確瞭解並掌握影響學生取得證照成效的相關因素,用以精進教師課程設計、提升學生學習成效、及考取專業證照之績效。還可用於探討學業成績或臨床實習成績相關的可改變因素,適時提供補救教學策略。除了用來詮釋學業、國考、學習表現之間的架構,了解國考表現與學業成績各因子的影響,更可以採用本研究模型架構,進行課程的規劃設計、模組化設計安排,亦可以藉由模組化的課程設計理念,推廣職能治療專業核心價值、生涯規劃理念,並可以提供相關專業領域參酌。

Abstract Background and purpose: The literature review of related learning outcomes research in the medical field found that academic achievement is an important predictor of passing the National Certification Examination. In Taiwan, there is a lack of research on relevant or predictive factors in Occupational Therapy(OT) field. Therefore, the aims of this study are as follows: (1) to explore the correlation between OT students' relevant learning elements (gender, college entrance channels, and personality traits) and national examinations. (2) to establish a prediction model for OT students passing the National Certification Examination, and to further understand its impact, and (3) to analyze the relationship between the OT students' academic ability in each academic year and the OT National Certification Examination. Methods:   A retrospective data analysis was employed to investigate the relationship between related factors of OT students and National Certification Examination . A total of 175 Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) OT students’ data about demographic variables and related learning factors were collected and analyzed. Structural Equation Models (SEM) was used to analyze the impact path of each academic achievement on the passing of the National Certification Examination, and to test the goodness of fit of the constructed model. Results:   The results showed that there were significant differences in the performance of the students from different college entrance channels, especially Multi-Star Project and individual application. Also, there were significant differences among the students who passed the graduation English language proficiency benchmark, and the students who did not need to take the summer study course, and the excellent performance of the students.The results also showed that there was no significant difference among the MAPA personality classification, gender, and the performance of students in the National Certification Examination. And academic performance is most closely related to National Certification Examination performance.   Through the support of the SEM academic achievement model of OT students established by this study , the effect of the influence of curriculum planning on OT students' performance in the National Certification Examination is fully understand, and the teaching outcome of OT department is confirmed. Conclusion:   Based on OT students' relevant learning factors and the results of the National Certification Examination, we can not only understand and grasp the relevant factors affecting the students' certification results, but also provide remedial teaching strategies for improving the curriculum design and for influencing factors related to academic performance or clinical practice performance. The framework of relevant research and related professional areas are considered.
