威爾第《六首浪漫曲》之音樂詮釋與分析

摘要

威爾第(Giuseppe Verdi, 1813-1901)是十九世紀義大利重要歌劇作曲家，一生共創作了二十六部歌劇，其歌劇特色為善於運用音樂傳達情節與營造戲劇情境，以音樂塑造人物性格，並與歌劇劇情作緊密的結合，其細膩且深入地刻劃劇中人物內心世界的深厚功力，更奠定了威爾第歌劇大師的地位。
然而，威爾第一生除了創作歌劇之外，於1845年出版的第二部同名歌曲集《六首浪漫曲》（Sei Romanze）中，創作技巧上有明顯變化，歌唱旋律與歌詞緊密呼應，伴奏型態及調性變化上更加適切多元，證明威爾第除了能夠創作出膾炙人口的歌劇作品外，亦能將其高超的作曲技法，應用於藝術歌曲創作之中。
本論文從威爾第身處之時空背景為起始，首先探究十九世紀歐洲時代背景，接著對義大利時勢變遷加以陳述，進而對義大利文藝風潮作一了解，並針對威爾第的生平及《六首浪漫曲》的創作背景與各曲內容做重點敘述；最後透過演唱詮釋及樂曲分析的角度，對威爾第《六首浪漫曲》的樂曲脈絡，進行解構與整合；期望藉此能對歌曲的內涵及作曲家的音樂思維，有更深刻的體會與觸動，進而激起更多人對威爾第藝術歌曲之愛好。

Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) was a renowned Italian opera composer in the 19th century. He composed twenty-six operas in his life. He was good at using music to convey the plot and created dramatic circumstances. He used music to shape characters with close connection to the plot. His profound skills of delicately and deeply depicting the inner world of the characters also established his reputation of being an opera master.
However, in addition to opera creation, Verdi published the second song collection of the same name “Sei Romanze” in 1845, in which his creative skills changed a lot; with the melodies echoing the lyrics closely; accompaniment patterns and tonal changes are more appropriate and diverse, all of which prove that in addition to creating well-known operas, Verdi could also apply his superb composition techniques to song composition.
This thesis starts with Verdi’s background, particularly the area where he lived. It first explores the European historical background in the 19th century, stating the situational changes in Italy thus making a probe into the Italian literary trend, and then lays special stress on narrating Verdi’s life and the creation of “Sei Romanze” as well as the content of each song. Finally it deconstructs and integrates music contexts from Verdi’s “Sei Romanze” through interpretation and analysis of the music, in the hope of having a more profound understanding of the song and the composer’s ideas in relation to his music, thus stimulating more people’s appreciation of Verdi’s compositions.
