臺灣原住民音樂元素於琵琶樂曲中的運用與詮釋- 以《泰雅歡歌》為例

摘要


藝術作品可以反映出創作者與母體社會的緊密連結,得以窺見文化傳統及意識形態;而在如此蓬勃的藝術文化脈動中,具有豐富文化底蘊的台灣,無疑使根植於這塊土地的藝術創作者擁有了多元且豐沛的創作靈感,成為台灣當代音樂藝術創作裡最直接、最真切地作品創作元素來源。於此,以台灣多元族群文化元素進行藝術創作儼然成為台灣創作者的使命,藝術創作者得以透過作品表達對自身家鄉的關懷及認同,並以作品傳承及保存族群文化意念。   而站在身為台灣琵琶演奏者的立場綜觀琵琶眾樂曲,以台灣土地元素作為創作元素的琵琶作品並不多見,為以藝術作品傳達對台灣的關懷及愛念,實踐身為台灣琵琶演奏者之藝術家使命,因此創作一首以台灣泰雅族口簧琴及傳統歌謠為創作根本元素,並融合琵琶特有技法及音色之琵琶獨奏曲《泰雅歡歌》(The Song of Atayal)。基於此,本研究爬梳台灣原住民各族群的音樂藝術特色及精髓,以宏觀且具脈絡的角度匯整各族音樂內涵;同時歸納台灣原住民元素於表演藝術中的運用案例,以探討跨文化藝術創作中的藝術形式、呈現方式及作品內涵,並於歸納後作為本研究於琵琶曲《泰雅歡歌》音樂詮釋及藝術呈現書寫角度上的參借。再者,藉由創作、分析及詮釋琵琶獨奏《泰雅歡歌》一曲,除可提供在編創樂曲時,琵琶以技法模擬泰雅族傳統樂器-口簧琴音色之不同的器樂語法運用的手法,以及琵琶器樂語彙與泰雅族、賽德克族傳統歌謠曲調及風格的相互融合創作形式之外,盼透過跨文化音樂的創作、演奏及詮釋,能拓展琵琶跨界、跨領域創作的器樂語彙領域,並以台灣琵琶演奏者的身分,為台灣藝術創作盡一己之力。

Art works reflect the connections between creators and their societies. Cultural tradition and ideologies of artists are seen in their creations. Taiwanese artists are inspired in aspects by its prosperous artistic environment and abundant cultural heritages, which are the aesthetic elements to Taiwanese contemporary music pieces. Creating art works based on multiple cultures in Taiwan seems to become the calling for its art creators. Through art pieces, creators deliver their concern and identification for their home country. Meanwhile preserving and inheriting Taiwanese art works have become their missions.   From the view of a Pipa performer, Chinese Pipa music pieces composed with Taiwanese local elements seems to be rare. To fulfill the duty of a Taiwanese Pipa performer, the author of this study therefore composed a work to express her love and concern for Taiwan. The work, “the Song of Atayal”, adopted Taiya jew's harp and traditional folk songs as its core elements, blending in unique Pipa skills and tones. The study compiled music features from aboriginal tribes in Taiwan in an analytical and panoramic view. Summarizing cases in which indigenous elements had been used in artistic performances, the author tried to explore art styles, expressions, and connotations of cross-culture music works. The result from the study has then been a contribution to the composition and presentation of “the Song of Atayal”. Besides, through creating, analyzing, and interpreting this Pipa solo, the author not only aimed to imitate the sound of Taiya jew's harp and immerse Chinese Pipa tones into traditional Taiya songs, but also anticipated to broaden the passages for local Pipa music by performing merged intercultural music pieces .
