隨著產業不斷的進步,不管是新技術的研究或新市場的開發所需投入的資本與日俱增,且更因技術專利權問題使新產品的開發難度增高,漸漸已使一般企業面對競爭而力有未逮;為使企業能繼續生存,各式各樣的策略聯盟因應而生。本研究探討旺宏電子(MACRONIX)、任天堂(NITENDO)、建興電子(LITE-ON)、華邦電子(WINBOND)、東芝(Toshiba)、茂矽(MOSEL)與英飛凌(INFINEON)等七家公司,特別是這些公司之間的策略結盟經驗,藉以檢視策略聯盟的综效。個案分析結果顯示:策略聯盟是可藉由結盟以擴大規模或互補長短來提升彼此能力,並獲得最大的效益。但策略聯盟也必須基於策略的考慮,來選擇是否應從事策略聯盟,以及採何種策略聯盟的方式。研究結果可以作為國內外企業之間推動策略聯盟實務的參考。
To comply with the advancement in the industry, the amount of investments on both the research of new technology and the development of new market are growing with each passing day. The difficulties in the development of new product are increasing because of the technical patent problem. It makes enterprises beyond their power to do something while facing the competition. Therefore, various strategic alliances are established for businesses’ survive. Seven corporations including MACRONIX, NITENDO, LITE-ON, WINBOND, Toshiba, MOSEL and INFINEON are selected as samples for the synergy analysis of strategic alliances. Two important points obtained form this case study: (1) Both the scale and the capability of corporation can be promoted by means of strategic alliances. (2) The maximum benefit will be obtained further. Both Strategic alliances and the type of strategic alliances are selected based on the strategic consideration. The result obtained form this study also provides some valuable suggestions for business while conducting strategic alliances practices.
