隨著全球少子化之趨勢,寵物的地位提升,飼主願意花更多錢讓牠們享受更好的生活待遇,因而有了「寵物服務產業」出現。寵物旅館即係由其中之寵物住宿服務所延生而成,自2005年於日本出現創始業者後,此行業開始在全球多點式擴散。台灣儘管也有了寵物旅館業者的出現,卻仍未能提高此產業可見度,服務品質亦無標準可言,而服務的品質絕大部分取決於訓練之成效。故本研究欲進一步探討台灣寵物旅館產業人力培訓制度之現況。 本研究之研究方法採用資料蒐集、訪談和實地觀察等方式,整合、分析、比較台灣、美國、日本之寵物服務產業與寵物旅館產業發展現況。其中,在台灣選定一家寵物旅館業者、兩家寵物美容兼旅館服務業者和一家訓練機構老師進行實地訪談,透過交叉比對、分析目前台灣寵物旅館業者在員工訓練上之情形及所遇到的問題,並結合訪談內容提出針對寵物服務產業乃至寵物旅館產業之短、中、長期建議。最後,本研究對於台灣寵物旅館產業訓練架構之建置設計一套模式,使寵物旅館業者透過與外界機構間之教育、反饋等相輔相成方式,讓訓練的效益方能獲得極大化,在使寵物旅館產業的整體服務水準獲得提升之時,亦同時提高產業可見度。
Because of the declining birthrate, the position of pets has been raised. Lots of people treat their own pets as their family, and are willing to spend more money on pets to let them be well served. These have been prospering the pet hotel industry since 2005, when the first company established in Japan. Although Taiwan began its pet hotel industry in 2006, it had still not well known to everyone after years of development. The main reason could be the insufficient control of service quality. The methodology of this study includes literature analysis, interview and observing. We conducted interviews with three business owners and one professor in charge of training courses in Taiwan. Derived from the industry comparison among Taiwan, the U.S.A and Japan , this study provides short, middle and long term suggestions for the pet hotel industry of Taiwan. At the end of this study, we built a model of training program for the pet hotel industry. In this model, pet hotel companies are suggested to interact with training agencies. Through the interaction with training agencies, pet hotels are able to maximize the benefit of training. Moreover, it may improve the service quality.
