中小型半導體製程設備商之經營策略探討 - 以美商辛拓公司為例

摘要


論 文提要內容: 台灣發展半導體製造業已有近二十餘年的歷史,政府刻意的政策引導及優厚的獎勵措施,加上產業發展潛力大,產品日新月異,應用廣大,讓台灣在全世界半導體產業鏈中佔有不可忽視的領先地位。回顧歷史,在這愈趨於成熟與大者恆大的產業中,進入門檻也越來越高,利潤卻逐漸下降,在產品生命週期越來越接近高原期的當下,對於景氣的循環與長鞭效應更為顯著,面對未知的產業前景與等待景氣復甦期,該運用何種策略一方面努力求生存,一方面避免國際大廠的激烈競爭與夾殺,提高競爭力並繼續推動公司穩定成長,股東價值極大化,將是經營者一個重要且關乎公司生存的課題。本研究以半導體製程設備產業為範圍,以中小型公司辛拓半導體設備公司為對象,蒐集國內外專業研究機構公開資料,專業期刊與雜誌,產業內公司公開資料,專業網站公開資料,將相關的理論與個案公司作深入的研究探討。期能藉由分析文獻理論與印證中小型半導體製程設備商經營策略,提出具體建議,提供台灣欲加入中小型半導體製程設備產業的企業做為參考。

ABSTRACT Taiwan development semiconductor industry over 20 year,government dedicated policy and create environment,tax deduction support to this program and semiconductor device are application to wide range industry in this centre, all this effect make Taiwan to be world wide semiconductor industry supply chain key position 。Review to history,semiconductor industry is more then more matures,competition force is higher then higher,but gloss margin is keep declaim,semiconductor wafer equipment supply company how to survive in global finance fluctuation and industry up/down cycle will be more them more serious issue,face to down term and unknown future,how to create company value and profit return to stock holder,will be key topic now. This study will focus on the area of semiconductor wafer fab equipment industry,and use middle size company Semitool Inc. as case study and collect the overseas related information ,evaluation reports,government industry development reports,journals,and semiconductor company profile、finances reports,web material,to have further analysis 。This research is to understand the competitive advantages & business strategies of the semiconductor equipment industry,and provide recommendation to new entry semiconductor equipment companies in Taiwan to refrence.
