資訊系統功能績效之實徵性研究

摘要


企業電子化目前已成為企業之間競爭不得不採取的方式,而資訊系統/科技的應用也儼然成為企業必備的競爭武器。然而,資訊系統/科技對企業而言仍屬一項昂貴的資源,因此企業在進行資訊科技投資後,必然會對資訊系統功能績效加以衡量,藉以評估投資效益,所以資訊系統功能績效的評估一向便是學術界與實務界關心的重要課題。 本研究的研究目的主要在於探討資訊系統功能績效的測量,同時針對影響資訊系統功能績效的前因(高階主管支持、系統品質、資訊品質、電腦自我效能)與後果(個人影響)變項進行探討。因此在驗證部份,主要想了解前因變項與資訊系統功能績效之間是否具有正向關係?何者具有最為顯著的影響?以及探討資訊系統功能的使用對於個人所產生的影響程度。在探索部份,主要想了解不同層級的使用者,在使用資訊系統功能應用時是否有所差異?以及資訊系統的使用者是否可分成不同的使用者群? 本研究利用結構化方程式模型的建立與分析後,確立「資訊系統功能績效」與前因(高階主管支持、資訊品質、系統品質、電腦自我效能)及後果變項(個人影響)之間具有正向關係;其中,在前因變項中以「資訊品質」及「電腦自我效能」二項的效果最為顯著。同時,在探索性分析中發現不同層級使用者在資訊系統功能應用有顯著差異,在「決策合理化」的功能應用中「中階主管」的應用顯著高於「一般人員」的應用程度。整體而言,各層級人員對於「水平整合」的功能應用程度較為平均,至於「一般人員」在各項功能的應用程度較其他三個主管層級的應用程度低。再者,本研究將資訊系統功能使用者區分為四個集群,且在四個集群對於資訊系統功能的應用,在使用者不同的教育程度別及年齡別上有顯著差異。 本研究的研究貢獻包含學術與實務的管理意涵,在學術方面,本研究除了將資訊系統功能績效納入研究模型中,同時利用實徵資料進行模型的驗證,在此期望能有更多學者利用本研究中之量表來評估各種資訊系統功能的績效;在實務方面,本研究期望提供企業在進行資訊系統功能績效評估時,能有具體的評估方式,同時更可依其因果關係做為改進的依據,使企業能充分利用本身所具有之資源,進一步達到持續的競爭優勢。

E-business has turned into cannot but select competition way between enterprises. Thus, information system/information technology (IS/IT) application has already been essential competition weapon for enterprises. IS/IT is an expensive resource for a business. Even so, an enterprise will measures its information system function performance (ISFP) in order to evaluate the investment benefits after the money invested in IS/IT. That’s the reason why the evaluation for the ISFP always is significant topic both in academic and enterprise world. This paper indicates the measurement for ISFP as well as the cause (top management support, system quality, information quality, and computer self-efficacy) and effect (individual impact) variables. Therefore, in the test and verify part, we would like to know if relationship between the cause factors and ISFP is positive? If so, which has significantly influenced? Besides, we will discuss the usage of ISFP impact on individual person. We also like to probe if there any difference between ISFP and different level user. And would it be possible to divide ISFP user into different user group? After using structural equation model to analysis, we establish firmly and find positive relationship among “ISFP”, the cause factors (top management support, system quality, information quality, and computer self-efficacy) and effect (individual impact) variables. We find information quality and computer self-efficacy has significant influence among cause factors. In the meanwhile, we find significant difference between different user level and ISFP in the explore analysis. Middle manager’s application significant higher than general employee in the function application of decision rationalization. Completely, it’s equally for horizontal integrated and function application level in each user level. Each function application level in general employee is lower then the other three-director level. Moreover, this research divide ISF user into four groups. There is significant difference between user’s education and age in four different ISF application groups. This paper included academical and business contribution. We expects to increase academically researches, hopes more researchers getting into this category for academically contribution, and supports the specific way for enterprises evaluating its ISFP in practical utility. In the meantime, helps business improving and uses resources adequately in accordance with its cause and effect relationships, further to get the sustainable competitive advantage.
