基督教中原大學校園福音事工之研究

摘要

本文係以基督教中原大學為個案，針對其校園福音事工之興起與發展作一觀察、分析，藉以對中原大學校園福音事工有更全面性的、整體性的瞭解。本文主要引用自中原大學校牧室所藏之檔案文獻，以及相關校史、校刊、傳記、會議記錄、紀念文集、訪問集等史料，和中原鄰近眾教會及機構之中原校園福音事工歷史，撰寫而成。
全文的章節安排，共有五章，分別包括：第一章緒論中，陳述研究背景與動機、研究的重要性、研究目的與問題、名詞詮釋和研究方法。第二章探討校園福音事工之理論依據，透過從聖經與神學瞭解校園福音事工的理論依據，進一步研究校園福音事工在中原大學的意涵。第三章則在學校的文獻史料和中原鄰近眾教會機構的校園福音事工歷史資料中，加以實證性的詮釋與分析，藉此明瞭中原大學校園福音事工實際運作情況。第四章陳述中原校園福音事工管理系統之形成背景及重要內涵，探討此管理系統是否有益於福音事工的推動。最後一章結論中，將整體評估中原大學校園福音事工持續至今的主要原因，以及未來展望。
從基督教中原大學校園福音事工的探討，不僅可呈現該校福音事工的演變軌跡，又可作為校園福音事工現況的反思，進而作為今後基督教大學校園福音事工的借鏡。又因它具有啟發基督教大學高等教育發展的特色，經過此研究實例後，期待有更多的學者先進投注校園福音事工的問題中，對基督教校園福音事工進行深入的探索和研究，則對華人高等教育的影響，將是極為深遠的。

The purpose of this study is to examine the campus ministry at Chung-Yuan Christian University (CYCU) by means of observing and describing the launch as well as the historical development of the work. Available resources for doing this research are preserved by the Chaplain Office of CYCU and the related historical materials such as school journals, biographies, minutes, and interview records. In addition, the materials relating to the campus ministry held by churches and institutes in Chungli area will also be used and taken into account.
This paper consists of five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to the background, significance, methods, and goals of the study. Moreover, the problems to be tackled and the terminology used in the study are also introduced in this place.
Based upon the Bible as well as its theological interpretation, the second chapter discusses the rationale for campus ministry and the meaning of further study in this regard.
In the third chapter, the collected documents and historical materials relating to campus ministry are analyzed in order to give a whole view of the practical operation of the duty at CYCU.
The fourth chapter presents the administrative system of the chaplain’s office as how it has been functioning on the campus ministry. Furthermore, it discusses and evaluates to what degree the system has positive influence on the mission.
The last chapter is the summary of this study. It concludes the main reasons why the campus ministry at CYCU has been done until now.
Finally, recommendations and suggestions are made for future implication and research.
