論文摘要 自八0年代中期臺灣宣告解除長久以來的戒嚴體制直到現階段為止,社區參與在本地的推動者,從空間專業自身的反省出發參與了社會的蛻變,過去十多年來的發展經驗,不僅為國內空間專業領域注入新觀念,亦是一項影響深遠的環境與社區發展的行動。近年在中央與地方政府大力宣導及政策推動下,社區營造在本地有了大規模推行的機會,也具體的推展出屬於本地特殊背景和脈絡下的實踐觀點與經驗。直到最近幾年,社區參與中最重要的一項基本原則,意即使用者積極參與環境創造與經營的觀點,逐漸朝向校園內來推動。然而,一如社區參與在迅速普及化的過程中出現實踐上的各種危機與困境,隨著校園參與開始出現大規模推行機會的同時,似乎有必要就未來實踐取向做進一步的討論與釐清。 本研究之內容可分為兩部份,第一部份為理論論述與歷史向度的討論及考察。由於校園參與在本地的發展仍處於起步階段,透過西方世界的論述基礎及本地經驗的回顧,除能瞭解過去校園參與在本地發展的歷史條件及其作用,亦能進一步針對現階段問題及未來實踐取向做出建議。第二部份是校園空間規劃的操作,本研究以中原大學活動中心廣場爲基地,透過學生實際參與空間規劃設計的方式,落實推動校園參與的可能性,進而提出具體結論。 本論文所採行之研究方法有以下三種,分別為經驗研究、文獻整理與理論探討以及個案研究。經驗研究以研究者親身參與之社區及校園營造的從旁觀察與實踐為主;文獻及理論部份以蒐集相關參與式社區及校園設計方面之理論、各方論述、實際案例為分析對象;個案研究則以研究者參與「中原大學校園創意空間營造計畫」的過程中,藉由實際操作的推動、紀錄、學習與檢討,綜合第一部份內容的分析與討論,嘗試針對校園參與的實踐內涵和未來發展取向及實質程序,提出研究建議。 本研究之結論可分為兩方面,一是透過個案研究的階段性成果,針對中原大學提出三項未來落實校園參與及公共論述環境建構之建議,其內容分別為常態化溝通管道的建構、形塑公共參與的校園環境改善模式以及強化學生社團組織功能;其二是將前述理論的推演、案例的分析與中原經驗作一結合,研擬學生參與大學校園空間規劃的程序,並提出學生參與校園空間規劃的策略、校園參與的推動架構及運作模式。
Abstract Since the announce of removal on the long term martial law in Taiwan during mid 80’s till now, the local promoter of community participation has started off from introspection on space profession and participated with the change of society. The experience of development over the last decade was not only an injection of new concepts in the field of domestic space profession, but also an action of environmental and community development with significant influence. With attentive introduction and policy promotion by the central and local government during recent years, community construction had the local opportunity for large scale promotion, where practical points of view and experience under the local special background and context were introduced specifically. Up till recent years, one of the most important basic principles (i.e. user’s point of view on active participation in environmental creation and operation) in community participation has been promoted into the campus gradually. However, as there is various crisis and difficulty for community participation in the sense of practice during process of rapid popularization, it seems necessary to carry out further discussion and clearance on future direction at the same time when campus participation starts to have opportunity of promotion in large scale. The content of this research is divided into two parts. The First Part is about discussion and investigation on theoretical description and historic tendency. Since local development of campus participation is still in the starting phase, with the theoretical base of discussion from western world and review on local experience, we may understand historical condition and function of local development on campus participation, and take a step further to make suggestion towards current problems and future practical direction. The Second Part is about operation of planning on campus space. Based on the Activity Center Square of Chung Yuan Christian University, this research put possibility of promoting campus participation into practice via method of actual student involvement in space planning and design, and then propose specific conclusion. The three methods of research adopted in this thesis were namely the research in experience, document coordination with discussion on theory, and case study. The research in experience focused on side observation and putting things into practice by the researcher from personal participation on community and campus construction; the documentation and theoretical part collected subjects of analysis from theories, discussion from various party and actual cases related to participative community and campus design; the case study took participation by the researcher in “Creative Space Construction Program for Chung Yuan Christian University Campus” to compile analysis and discussion with content of First Part via promotion, recording, learning and review from actual operation, where attempt of proposition on research suggestion was carried out on practical connotation of campus participation, future direction of development and practical procedure. There were two conclusions in this research. First, from result between case studies, three suggestions were made towards Chung Yuan Christian University on putting campus participation in the future and establishment of environment for public discussion, these suggestions contained establishment of channels for normalized communication, creating mode of environmental improvement for the campus on public participation, and strengthen the function of student organization. Second, combine the above theory deduced and cases analyzed with the Chung Yuan experience, and then draft for procedure of student participation in space planning for University Campus, as well as proposing strategies of student participation on space planning for the campus, structure of promotion for campus participation, and mode of operation.
