摘 要 由於電腦網路克服了時間及地域障礙,網路的應用將增加企業的競爭力。 本研究主要是透過網路進行彈性製造系統的遠端監控,使用者無論何時何地都能監控所有製程的設備運作情形。座落於遠端的電腦能透過網路傳送資料、操作程序或特定動作的指令。遠端控制改善彈性製造系統的效率,而且實施即時的監控使遠端的使用者能不受地域的限制進行產品研發或樣本試製。 本研究以Visual Basic發展的軟體包含兩部份,一是以ActiveX崁入於網頁中來控制彈性製造系統,二是透過網路進行現場的影像傳輸。用來擷取現場影像的攝影機是可以被遠端使用者所調控,當客戶端以瀏覽器下載網頁後,則與伺服端建立了TCP/IP的連結,其視訊部份是藉由Microsoft的NetMeeting軟體達成視訊畫面的傳遞。 為了印證所提出的方案,建立一實驗性質的彈性製造系統,包括機械手臂、輸送帶機、配料機、CNC車床、CNC銑床。成功的以遠端(remote)的電腦控制本地端(local)的彈性製造系統,而且真正觀察到機械手臂、配料機及輸送帶的運動。 尤其,CNC的車削及銑削等加工程序可被清礎的觀察,猶如身歷其境,現場操作。 所以如果運用本研究成果於產業界,將具有相當的益處。 關鍵字:遠端監控 ;彈性製造系統
Abstract The application of internet will increasingly determine the competitive success of corporations because computer networks overcome the barriers of time and distance. The primary goal of this research is to remotely control and monitor a flexible manufacture system through the internet so that users are able to access all equipments in the process anytime and anywhere. Computers located at remote sites have the full capability of sending anything over internet including data, processing request , or command to instruct the system to take a particular action. The application of remote control improves the efficiency of the flexible manufacture system and the implementation of monitoring in real time provides the remote users to do the research and development or to produce the prototype without the geographic constraint. The software of this research, developed by Visual Basic, consists of two folds, i.e. embedding the website’s pages with the ActiveX objects to control the FMS and transferring the image of the site through the internet. The camera used to capture the image of the site is adjustable by the remote users. The link between the server and client is established by TCP/IP when the client uses the browser to download the website’s page. The image of vision is transferred and handled by the Microsoft’s NetMeeting. In order to examine the proposed approach, we establish an experimental FMS, including the robotics, conveyors, feeder, CNC latch machine, CNC mill machine. We successfully control the local FMS on a remote computer and truly observing the motion of the robotics, feeder and conveyors. Especially, the operation of CNC in latching or milling can be seen as clear as you are on the site in person. Thus the result of this research will benefit the industry if it is applied.
