摘要


隨著基因定序速度不斷提高,產生了大量的序列資料,加上透過比對分析工具執行後的結果資料含有大量複雜的數據,而基因序列裡頭隱藏許多生物表現的特徵與遺傳訊息,因此如何由龐大複雜的資訊中,取得需要的生物訊號及資訊,並藉由軟體工具讓資料視覺化及使用者自訂上傳更新,便成了一個重要的研究課題。 JSF為一個採用MVC架構的網路應用程式架構,配合相關生物資訊程式如Blast的分析運算功能,能將基因資料與分析運算所產生的數據資料格式化為易於觀察的圖形介面,即可使用網頁瀏覽器的視窗介面來檢視序列資訊及分析結果。讓複雜基因序列資料及分析結果轉換成易於瀏覽與觀察的方式。

With the rapid progress of genome sequencing, large volume of sequence data and their annotations have been generated. A very important research topic is how to better extract the biological signals from these data. This will require a new generation of software tools that can allow users to (1) visualize the final results, and (2) update data by themselves. In this thesis, we will present the design and implementation of a web-based integration tool set, GeneBench, which uses JSF, an architecture based on model-view-controller (MVC) design pattern. The tool can work with bio-informatics program like Blast, and converts the genomic data into graphic form. The tool can be accessed via web browser and has the capability to graphically display complex genomic sequence data and their analytic results in user-friendly interface.
