水是權力的代名詞,能夠掌控水資源即能掌握權力,石門水庫的興建對照傅柯 (M.Foucoult)「空間是權力的延伸」的論述,可以解讀為「權力的建構」,相對的,權 力亦隨著水的流動而移轉。 石門古溪由於新店斷層的運動,發生河川劫奪的現象,直接造就大溪河階的景 觀,也間接形成日後桃園台地的埤塘文化。 十一份地區在空間發展的歷程上,早有李氏家族「火槍圍地」的權力模式,而 石門水庫的興建,形同政府將權力延伸至十一份,形成了另類權力劫奪,在此對照於 大嵙崁溪河川劫奪地理現象,實有異曲同工之妙。 水域空間的產生,加上權力的掌握,造成人的遷移,而移民故事的內涵,使「水、 權力、遷移」三元關係成為本研究論述中的重點。
Water is the name for power, having control over water supply means having power. The construction of Shi-Men Reservoir can be interpreted as the building of power correspondent to the statement of that space is the extension of power by Mr.Foucoult, accordingly, the power changes along with the movement of water flow. Beginning part of the old Shi-Men brook got cut off due to the Hsintien fault movement, creating the landscape of Da-Shi river bank and indirectly the Tau-Yuan area ponds development. In early times,the place of Shi-I-Fen was famous for being taken by the Lee family using guns. The power struggle for land occupation is quite similar to constructing the Shi-Men Reservoir which controls the water supply of the area. The land, the water supply and the power struggle are the causes for the movement of immigrants, so the water, power and movement are the three dimensions for exploring the immigrants'history in this essay.
