這是一個發生在空間裡的儀式。都市中的人們,活在快速、擁擠、忙碌不變的生活步調中,漸漸的讓我們的感官麻木,讓我們的身體失去感覺,讓我們的內心失去感動,感到窒息。或許曾經在我們心中純真的靈魂在也找不到出口,迷失方向。希望透過這個空間中的儀式幫助迷失的人們重新喚起自我的知覺,感覺自我的情緒,與自我的對話,進而找到身體上真正的放鬆,精神上真正的出口。高窄狹的靜謐廊道、暗暖的空間、厚沉的石門,撒著樹影的高聳天井空間、不可逆轉的空間序列及動線,這個SPA會館將帶領你由令人窒息、煩躁的都市生活,進入「存思守靜」的新境界,一個源於中國道家聖哲老子的養生哲學。這是一個因空間而產生的心靈旅程,體驗空間由極度壓迫到豁然釋放的變化,以及心境從壓抑到平靜的蛻變。主要研究方法為透過文獻與案例分析比較、田野調查、設計實驗操作與檢討,置入上述之空間儀式、道家養生概念,創造一個全新概念之SPA品牌「木靜」。於宜蘭地區現有基地中形塑該品牌的第一間概念SPA會館,做為品牌整體「概念喚起」及「宣示」之角色。透過此SPA會館,將品牌核心概念傳達給都會生活者,一步步帶領台北都會人群,進入中國道家之哲學觀與修持,到達另一種養生的層次與境界。
This is a spiritual journey created by the spaces in this resort. Urban residents in busy, crowded and suffocating milieu are losing their ability of sense. Via experiencing these spaces, the ability of sense will be awakened, and a self-dialog will be stimulated. A high-up narrow corridor, a dim warm ambiance, a solid stone gate. Shadows of leaves swinging into a towering patio. Irreversible meditating spatial sequences free visitors from suffocating urban life in this resort. Visitors’ body and mind will transcend into a state of “tsun-sze, shou-jing” (i.e. meditation and stillness) , a traditional Chinese health concept of Lao-tzu about cutting off external sensory impacts and returning to inner stillness. Be ready to explore the spiritual journey of spaces from extreme repression to calm release, and to experience how a repressed mind can reach the utmost tranquility step by step. This study involved a literature review, case study, field study, and experiment regarding the spatial ritual and Taoist regimen concepts described above, developing a new spa brand “Feel Tranquility.” The first conceptual spa resort in Yilan shaped and promoted the Feel Tranquility brand, evoking and declaring the overall concept of the brand. The core concept of the brand is conveyed to urban residents at the spa resort, leading the denizens of Taipei into a Taoist philosophical and spiritual level and reaching a state conforming to regimen.
