In this study, a perstrophic multiplexing technique is applied to the holographic storage system with modified clay doping in the photopolymer (DPPA/PQ) nanocomposites via in situ polymerization. There are two parts in this work. One is the preparation of organic modified clay and DPPA/PQ-Clay nanocomposites. The other is the measurement of optical properties, which include transmittance spectrum, diffractive efficiency, holographic number and dynamic range (M/#). According to the modulation of laser power, the dynamic range and the photorefractive increase on the holographic storage system with the modified clay doping in the photopolymer (DPPA/PQ).
