探討塑膠模具產業群聚之運作本質-以A公司為例-

模具產業為一技術、資本密集且附加價值高之產業，更是各類終端產品量產的一項基本工具，因此模具工業向來有「工業之母」的美稱。發展模具可以提高工業產品的精良度，亦是帶動產業發展最重要的基礎工業。本研究中，我們以塑膠模具廠商的群聚行為作為研究塑膠模具產業的核心，分析塑膠模具產業運作的本質。我們不僅探究個案公司與外包廠的群聚行為，也將不同交易結構下的分工與專業化問題一起考量。我們試圖分析塑膠模具產業的群聚運作的本質。在文中會介紹塑膠模具的製造技術、塑膠模具產業價值鏈以及塑膠模具產業面臨的困境等。本研究主要發現如下：一、台灣關於產業群聚的研究，多從社會學中借用如信任、網絡、關係、資源共享等各項觀念來解釋現象，本研究則從策略管理與經濟學的角度探討產業群聚，其所得之結論與產業意涵更具內部一致性。二、各產業都有群聚的現象、有不同的運作方式。實際探討各群聚內的廠商如何在既競爭又合作的關係中相互協調，是瞭解各群聚成功或失敗的必要過程，這與Proter探討群聚的精神一致。三、探討塑膠模具產業群聚後發現，由於產業特殊的技術特徵，獨佔性競爭市場是塑膠模具產業最主要的產業競爭結構，獨佔性競爭市場決定了產業群聚的發展、決定廠商規模、並以有效率的專業分工方式來管理群聚廠商，吸引電子大廠的訂單，創造出群聚的高度成長。四、群聚廠商非常了解充分利用市場競爭來進行資源配置與價值創造，並且提供了充足的管理協調資源。

The mold procuction are technological, capital-intensive and high value-added industry, and the mold is an important tool for all kinds of mass production of terminal products. Therefore, the mold is the foundation of any industrial products. The development of mold industries not only enhances industrial products to be more sophisticated, but also promotes the most important foundation industries. In this article, we will introduce manufacturing technology of mold industries, value chain, difficult position the mold industries will face, and so on. In this research, we emphasize on the cluster behavior of mold industries to analyze the operation essence of mold industries. We will not only inquire policy-making questions between A Corporation and outsourcing factories, also will consider the different transaction structure of division of labor and the specialized issues together. Because of adopting the industrial cluster research theory, we can analyze the essence of cluster operation.
