臺灣紡織成衣產業策略群組研究—結構關係與動態發展觀點

A Research on Strategic Group of Garment Industry in Taiwan—Structural Relationship and Dynamic Development Perspectives

摘要


紡織產業是臺灣早期的工業,帶動臺灣經濟蓬勃成長,如今臺灣紡織業由代工生產慢慢轉型為原廠委託設計代工,建立紡織產業差異化轉型,臺灣紡織產業下游的成衣業中加工層次與附加價值最高,且臺灣紡織成衣產業的機能性服飾成長性升高,因為受到運動風潮的興起及環保意識抬頭,臺灣紡織產業的全球化的競爭激烈下,臺灣的成衣企業更要釐清自身與競爭對手的定位與變化,並適當的變化策略的重要關鍵。 本研究以策略群組的理論架構並透過Co-plot (合圖法)統計分析方法,並以臺灣紡織成衣產業為主要樣本,樣本的主要產品比重為成衣占60%以上的企業共七家為主要的樣本,並將績效指標作為分群構面,資料選取為2010年到2016年的各企業年報、TEJ資料庫與臺灣證券交易所的公開資訊觀測站。分析得出單年度的結構關係與跨年度的動態移動軌跡,並了解企業的變化與群組的特徵,以便對台灣紡織成衣產業做進一步的了解。 本研究依據Co-plot分析將臺灣紡織成衣產業為期七年的績效表現,結果將產業劃分為三大群組,分別為「績效領先群」、「研發重視群」以及「績效落後群」。每個群組都有不同的特性,並透過動態分析可得知各企業的動態變化發展。本研究策略軌跡分為策略變化明顯者與策略變化不明顯者,且將策略變化明顯者分為大幅變動與小幅變動。因此本研究的結果有助於成衣企業釐清自身與競爭對手的定位,並積極地將策略適當調整,以因應未來發展與變化,增加企業的核心競爭力。

The textile industry is one of the Taiwan's early industries, which has driven Taiwan's economy to flourish. Nowadays, Taiwan's textile industry has transformed from OEM to ODM. The garment industry is the downstream sub-industry of the textile industry. The garment industry has the highest added value and the growing potential of functional clothing in Taiwan's textile industry. The growing of Taiwan garment industry dues to the sports trends and environmental awareness. Taiwan's textile industry faces high competition in the global market. Taiwan's garment companies, therefore, must clarify themselves and competitors’ positioning and changes, and adopt the appropriate change strategy. This study uses the strategic group framework and the Co-plot statistical analysis method, and takes the garment industry into account. The seven enterprises in the sample with the main products over 60% of the garments are discussed and analyzed. The structure-conduct-performance related indexes of textile industry are applied as the basis of grouping. The data selected from 2010 to 2016 annual business reports, TEJ database and the Taiwan Stock Exchange's Market Observation Post System. The results show the members’ position and the structural characteristics of each strategic group, as well as moving trajectories and dynamic development situations, so as to make a full discussion and analysis on the garment industry. This study analyzes the performance of the selected Taiwan's textile and garment companies with seven-year data, and draws the result chart, and divides the textile and garment industry into three strategic groups (i.e. “Performance-leader Group”, “Research-and-Development Focused Group” and “Performance-laggard Group”) by Co-plot method. According to the Co-plot diagrams, each garment company can learn its strategic positions and changes as well as the development in the group and between the groups. Therefore, this study helps garment companies to clarify their competitive positions among the real competitors in the strategic group and to modify the coping strategies and future development direction, and to increase their core competitiveness and dynamic advantages.
