本研究旨在分析新竹縣國中數學教師選用教科書歷程及選用因素。研究目的為了結教科書開放後國民中學數學領域教科書的選用因素、所依循的選用規準,及使用情形,根據研究結果提供修正或評估教科書開放政策的依據。 本研究對於新竹縣五所國民中學,10位數學教師,進行訪談,採用質性分析,將訪談資料進行分析與整理,已得到研究結果。 研究結果發現: 一、 數學教師選用教科書的歷程,選用的人員,各校仍以數學教師 為主,透由公開的選書評鑑表,付諸表決,展現出教師的專業自主權。各校的選用歷程的差異處唯有:各校填寫評鑑單時,老師們未必有一同討論。理想的選書歷程,如果能讓各家出版社能舉辦說明會,老師們會了解的更多,對選書這項工作會更明確,選書使用後若能有評鑑使用效果,對日後的選書工作會更有效益。選用的教科書,往往都只看到一、三、五冊,並未完整呈現,許多老師會擔心造成選用的誤差。 二、根據訪談結果發現:所有的教師選用教科書時,最重視依序為數學教師選用教科書的原則是著重於「教科書的課程內容」 、「教科書的配套措施」「版面設計」、「編輯者的理念」,最後才是「環境及人為」。 研究者透過這次的研究訪談,除了了解新竹縣國中數學教師選用教科書的歷程及選用因素為何之外,更透由訪談了解到現行教師在教學上遇到的教學問題,及對教科書的使用方式。
Abstract The aim of this study is to analyze the process and factors in textbook selection of junior high math teachers in Hsin Chu County.The purpose is to understand the selection factors and and selection criteria and condition of utilization.The study results provide modification and evaluation for the textbook policy lifting. The study includes interviews with 10 math tearchers in 5 junior high schools in Hsin Chu County.Qualification analysis was used to analysis and summarize the interview data and the results were obtained. Results of the study: 1. In the process of textbook selection,the personnel are mainly math teachers.Through open evaluation sheets and voting,the professional authority was displayed.The difference of the selection process between these schools is that teachers did not discuss together when they filled out the evaluation sheets.The ideal textbook selection is to make every publishing companies hold elaboration meetings to increase teachers’ understandings and clarification in books selections.If there are the effctiveness evaluations after books selections,it will be helpful for the future books selection.Besides,the books selected often include only volume 1,3,5 without complete presentation,many teachers worry some selectin bias. 2. According the interview results,in the process of books selection,the hierachy of the principles of the teachers are “content of textbooks”、”the coexisting methods”、”design of format”、”idea of the editors”,and the last”environment and man-made”. After the study interviews,researchers not only understand the process and factors of books selection but also realize the teaching problems the teachers encounter and the utilization methods of the textbooks.
