無理數教學法之研究

摘要


無理數對國中生而言,是陌生的,雖然國中的教材先利用正方形面積、邊長來說明無理數的存在,但對學生來說仍是比較抽象的,他們大概只知道---一個數不能寫成分數的形式就是無理數。因此,學生在學習平方根、畢氏定理時遇到很大的困難。我們想用比較簡單的方式來呈現無理數的存在,及如何用一些較簡單方式來定義無理數,另外,也提供無理數有趣的現象,讓同學對它不再感覺陌生。

Junior high school students are not familiar with irrational numbers. Although the teaching materials in junior high school use the square area, the length of the side to illustrate the existence of irrational numbers, they are still abstract to most of the students. Probably they only know that the irrational numbers are the ones which can’t be written as a fraction of the form. Therefore, students encounter great difficulties in learning Square root and Pythagorean theorem. We want to use simpler ways to present and define the existence of irrational numbers. In addition, the teachers also provide an interesting phenomena of irrational numbers for students to avoid feeling strange about them.
