桃園市某公立國小轉型雙語教育實施現況之個案研究

A case study on the implementation of bilingual education in a public elementary school in Taoyuan City

摘要


本個案研究旨在探討桃園市某公立國小轉型雙語教育實施現況之個案研究,研 究者邀請 5 位行政人員以及 4 位教師參與研究 ; 透過質性研究的個案訪談,以及 文件分析法,進行資料收集與研究分析,希望了解個案學校當初轉型成雙語學校的 過程、困難、理念,以及了解個案學校實施雙語教育的現況和綜合成效。 研究結果發現,個案學校轉型雙語學校的過程,一、課程領導者需要非常清楚 「雙語涵義」,才有辦法讓全校上下一起推動雙語教育 ; 二、需要讓課程執行者 如老師們清楚了解實質規劃內容 ; 三、以終為始:以願景為目標規劃國小六年的 階段性目標 ; 四、滾動式修正:每年檢視活動與課程規劃成效,持續修正 ; 五、 雙語非英語:不能用英語成績評斷學生學習雙語的成效。 目前個案學校推行雙語教育期間,設立雙語組長,專職負責雙語相關業務。以 EMI 全英語教學加上 AI 科技輔助,提供完善英語環境,即時掌握學生狀況。中師 外師進行共備會議,有助協同教學現場進行更加順利。增加表徵圖片與動作,輔助 孩子沉浸英語環境中。透過多元展能,讓孩子有更多展現與練習英語的機會。 個案學校推行雙語教育五年下來,學生英語能力成效顯著。中師受邀參與全國教學公開博覽會,學校逐年增班,受家長的肯定。

The purpose of this research is to explore a case study of the implementation of bilingual education in a public elementary school in Taoyuan City. The researcher invited 5 administrators and 4 teachers to participate in the study; through qualitative research case interviews and document analysis methods, data collection was carried out Through research and analysis, I hope to understand the process, difficulties, and concepts of the case school's transformation into a bilingual school, as well as to understand the current situation and comprehensive effect of the case school's implementation of bilingual education. The results of the study found that in the process of transforming a case school into a bilingual school, firstly, the curriculum leaders need to be very clear about "what is bilingualism", so that the whole school can promote bilingual education together; secondly, curriculum executors such as teachers need to clearly understand the actual planning Contents; 3. Begin with the end: plan the six-year stage goals of elementary school with vision as the goal; 4. Rolling revision: review the effectiveness of activities and curriculum planning every year, and make continuous revisions; 5. Bilingual non- English: cannot use English grades Assess students' effectiveness in bilingual learning. At present, during the implementation of bilingual education in the case school, a bilingual team leader is established to be responsible for bilingual-related business. With EMI teaching in English and the assistance of AI departments, it provides a perfect English environment and can grasp the students' situation in real time. The co-preparation meeting between Chinese teachers and foreign teachers will help the collaborative teaching scene to proceed more smoothly. Add representational pictures and actions to help children immerse themselves in the English environment. Through diverse abilities, children have more opportunities to show and practice English. After five years of bilingual education in the case school, the students' English ability has achieved remarkable results, and their listening ability reached the TOEFL A2 level in the fourth grade. Chinese English teachers are invited to participate in the national open teaching expo. The number of classes in the school increases year by year, and the number of students increases year by year, which is affirmed by parents.
