本研究旨探討寫作融入數學教學活動對國二體育班學生數學學習的影響,並透過個案研究方式,探究其對不同語文程度學生的學習影響。研究者透過數學寫作教學方法,設計寫作形式學習單,對就讀桃園縣某國中二年級體育班學生作為研究對象,依照全年級語文及數學成績排序結果,從中篩選出8名個案,語文程度中上及中下學生各4位,再依據學生的寫作學習單、訪談、教學省思札記以及課堂師生對話札記等資料進行分析。 研究結果顯示如下: 一、寫作融入數學教學可提昇學生數學學習態度。 二、寫作融入數學教學可提昇學生數學學習自我效能。 三、寫作融入數學教學可有助於教師教學省思。 四、寫作融入數學教學對語文程度較為低落(PR≤25)的學生學習毫無效果。 最後,根據研究結果與發現,提出若干建議,以作為教師教學改進與未來研究之參考。
The research aims at exploring the impact of mathematical learning by integrating writing into mathematical instruction on the 8th graders in a physical education (PE) class. It, as well, discusses the influence through a case study on students with various language abilities. The researcher integrated writing into mathematical instruction, devised worksheets with writing style, targeted a PE class of students in the 8th grade in a junior high school in Taoyuan County, and selected eight cases, four with above-the-average language ability and four with below-the-average language ability, based on the academic rank of the 8th graders’ linguistic and mathematical scores. Afterwards, the researcher conducted an analysis according to the students’ worksheets, interviews, the journals of teachers’ teaching introspection and the dialogues between teacher and student in class. The results of the study are as follows. 1. Integrating writing into mathematical instruction helps to elevate students’ mathematical learning attitude. 2. Integrating writing into mathematical instruction assists students in mathematical learning efficiency. 3. Integrating writing into mathematical instruction enables teachers to introspect on teaching. 4. Integrating writing into mathematical instruction is ineffective for students with less than 25 percentage rank (PR) on language ability. Finally, based on the findings of this study, suggestions for improving teaching and future research were discussed.
