餐旅群學生在近年已成為高職主流科別之一,而人格特質一直以來是教育理論上被廣為討論的範疇。本研究旨在了解高職餐旅群學生人格特質與其對教師教學風格偏好之關聯性。研究採用問卷調查法,調查的對象為高雄市高職餐旅群學生,共發出960份問卷,回收問卷共857份,有效回收率89.27%。使用工具為「人格特質量表」與「教學風格偏好量表」,並以SPSS以及AMOS統計分析軟體進行實證作業。研究結果發現,在餐旅群學生人格特質二階驗證性因素分析中「外向性」、「親和性」傾向較高,「情緒敏感型」傾向最低,;人格特質亦顯著影響四種不同教學風格偏好,其中以學生人格特質影響「小組引導型」之教學風格偏好得分最高,本研究的貢獻,在於提供任教於餐旅群之教師教學方法的調整與課程設計時的參考。
The hospitality group department in vocational high schools has become one of the mainstream departments in recent years. The personality of students has been widely discussed among educationists. The purpose of current study is revealing the relationship between the personalities of the students in vocational high schools majoring hospitality group department and the preferences of their teachers’ teaching style. We used “Questionnaire Survey Method” in current study. All the participants were recruited from vocational high schools in Kaohsiung city. There were 960 questionnaires sent to all participants and 857 returned. The effective rate is 89.27%. We also used "Personality Scale" and " Preference of Teaching Styles Scale” to reveal that the personalities of hospitality group students in vocational high schools are more "Extraversion", " Agreeableness" and less" Neuroticism ". Our results indicate that they have the tendency to be active, enthusiastic, and willing to help other people. There are also significant correlations between personalities of the students and their preferences of four different teaching styles. The most powerful correlation is between the personalities of our participants and “Self-Directed Style”, indicating that .students of hospitality group may prefer group cooperation learning model. The contribution of this study is providing a reference towards course adjusting and designing for the teachers of hospitality group departments in vocational high school.
