婚姻抉擇引發之伴侶衝突經驗探究—以男性觀點為例

本研究目的旨在探討男性處於婚姻抉擇所引發伴侶衝突之主觀經驗，採質性研究進行半結構之深度訪談，以達到下列研究目的：一、了解男性之婚姻抉擇經驗與考量；二、探究男性在抉擇歷程中的伴侶衝突因素以及因應方式；三、探究男性的性別角色在婚姻抉擇衝突經驗呈現樣貌。共邀請四位年齡介於24-27的男性研究參與者，與伴侶交往時間介於六個月至近六年，雙方近期曾因婚姻抉擇發生衝突，分別進行兩次訪談。研究結果顯示：一、男性婚姻抉擇的主要考量為關係承諾，而關係承諾的影響因素包含等個人、伴侶關係、人際網絡與社會結構等內涵；二、婚姻抉擇衝突源自親密與承諾的需求未能被滿足，男性起初採取的衝突因應行為多為緩和情緒、被動迴避，偏好將衝突延宕處理，先冷靜處理彼此認知差異的失落感，以利於再度主動開啟雙方的溝通對話，衝突因應兼具主動與被動的特性；三、男性性別角色呈現出傳統與現代文化並存的現象，仍將經濟視為男性責任，但尊重伴侶擁有事業發展的權力和自由，不侷限結婚後女性需全權處理家務與子女教養，家務分工多採適才適任的觀點，彼此亦保有溝通的空間。研究者根據上述研究結果進行討論，並對面對婚姻抉擇議題的男性與女性、諮商專業工作者與後續研究者提出建議。

The purpose of this study is to explore the subjective experiences of men in couple conflicts caused by marriage choices. The research adopted the in-depth interview and the qualitative research methods were used to achieve the following research goals: 1.To understand men’s marriage choice experience and considerations. 2.To explore the factors of couple conflict and coping style in the process of male choice. 3.To explore the appearance of men's gender role in marriage choice conflict experience. Four male research participants in the relationship with partner for six months to nearly six years, aged 24-27, were invited to communicate about the recently conflict of marriage choice , and had two-time interviews. The results of the research showed: 1.The main consideration of male marriage choice is relationship commitment, and the influencing factors of relationship commitment include connotation such as individual, partner relationship, interpersonal network and social structure. 2.The conflict of marriage choice originates from the unsatisfied needs of intimacy and commitment. In the beginning, most of the conflict coping behaviors adopted by men are to ease their emotions and avoid passively. They prefer to delay the handling of the conflict and deal with the sense of loss of their cognitive differences calmly first, so as to open the communication and dialogue between the two sides again. The conflict coping has the characteristics of both active and passive. 3.Men's gender roles present the phenomenon of coexistence of traditional and modern culture, still regard economy as male responsibility, but respect the right and freedom of partners to have career development, not limited to women's full power to deal with housework and children's upbringing after marriage, the division of housework adopts the view that they are competent, and they also have space to communicate with each other. Based on the results of the above findings, the researcher gave suggestions for men and women who faced the issue of marriage choice, counselors, and follow-up researchers.
