夫妻間年齡差距對婚姻滿意度之影響

摘要

根據國外研究顯示夫妻年齡差距五歲為婚姻最幸福的組合，而本國研究雖有年齡差距、年齡與婚姻滿意度相關研究，卻尚未有國內研究指出年齡差距與婚姻滿意度之間的關係，故本文擬採用中華民國【台灣社會變遷基本調查】近四期的家庭組資料做為研究樣本，並使用OLS迴歸模型分析臺灣4914位已婚夫妻的婚姻滿意度是否會受到年齡差距的影響。研究第一部分中OLS迴歸實證結果發現，夫妻間以「男大於女5歲以內」的同質婚姻組合的婚姻滿意度為最高。第二部分的子樣本分析，以家庭內是否育有男孩、性別、教育年數做為區分，藉以觀察特定群體下年齡差距對婚姻滿意度的影響效果。結果發現育有男孩的家庭、教育年數在十二年以上者，其同質婚姻（男大於女5歲以內）組合的婚姻滿意度仍為最高。另外，不論男性或女性，當配偶的年齡較自己年長時，均會造成婚姻滿意度較低的情況產生。

According to foreign studies, the best marriage composition is the wife who is younger than her husband for five years. Although there are some studies in Taiwan which are talking about the relationship between age or age-gap and marital satisfaction, none of them has pointed out the relation between age gap and marital satisfaction. This paper adopts the information of family group from the latest four periods of “Taiwan Social Change Survey” , and uses the OLS regression model to analysis whether the marital satisfaction is affected by the age gap among 4914 married couples. The result in the first part shows that the marital satisfaction is the highest for couples, which the husband is older than the wife for less than five years old(it was called as homogeneous marriages). The second part is subsample analysis, in which sample is distinguished between gender, years of education, and whether families having son or not. The result shows that the martial satisfaction of homogeneous marriages old is still the highest for the families having son, and the people whose schooling years are more than 12 years. In addition, no matter male or female, sample marital satisfaction is lower when spouse is older than him/her.
