社頭織襪產業的動態演化路徑-由歷史看未來

彰化縣社頭為台灣織襪主要產地，有襪子王國之稱，近年由於全球化趨勢，導致部分工廠外移，繼續在台灣生產的工廠，卻又面臨中國大陸及東南亞市場低價產競爭，導致社頭的產業環境面臨嚴峻的考驗。本研究是以社頭織襪產業為研究對象，從Koka et al. (2006)網絡的觀點，分析該產業的網絡動態演化，並透過資料蒐集，實證社頭織襪產業動態演化的順序及特徵。本研究發現社頭織襪產業在強化期及萎縮期的特徵和Koka et al.,(2006)不同，Koka et al.,(2006)認為強化期及萎縮期時，產業內的異質性會減少，但社頭織襪產業為維持其生產的多樣性，故本研究認為在這兩階段，產業中的異質性皆為增加。透過產業資料得出社頭產業的演化順序為震盪期、擴張期、強化期以及萎縮期。目前社頭的織襪產業已邁向萎縮期，如何運用現有資源從新開始新由震盪期到擴張期的產業生產周期會是重要課題。

Shetou is the main origin of socks in Taiwan and is known as the sock kingdom. In recent years, due to the globalization trend, some factories have been moved outwards. The factories that continue to produce in Taiwan are facing low-price competition in the Chinese mainland and Southeast Asia. These reasons have caused the industry environment to face problems in Shetouarea. This study is based on the hosiery industry in Shetou. From the viewpoint of the network of Koka et al. (2006), it analyzes the dynamic evolution of the industry network, and through the data collection to demonstrate the path and characteristics of the dynamic evolution of the hosiery industry. This study found that the characteristics of the hosiery industry during the intensive and atrophic stage were different fromother studies of other instustries adopting’s framework Koka et al. (2006). Koka et al.(2006) believe that the heterogeneity of the industry will reduce during the period of reinforcement and atrophy. However, this study believes that in order to maintain diversity, the heterogeneity in industry is increasing.The evolutionary project of the Shetou district include the churning stage, expansion stage, reinforcement stage, and shrinkingstage. At present, the hosiery industry has experienced a period of shrinking in the company. The important issue is how to use existing resources to start a new industrial production cycle to go to churning, then to the expansion stage.
