從設計層面協助業主進行工廠觀光化

觀光工廠近來在台灣是觀光旅遊的新選擇，在廠商們的努力與政府的推動之下，已經有百餘間的工廠進行觀光化。究竟什麼是觀光工廠，而設計又能如何幫助工廠進行觀光化的轉型，是本研究的主要目的。從觀光工廠的介紹到轉型實例，進行產學合作的探討，藉由設計過程論述工廠轉型時的設計流程，提供欲進行轉型的工廠與設計師參考實例。在研究中分成五個章節。第一章為動機、目的與限制。第二章為觀光工廠的介紹，從定義、各種角度、現況和觀光工廠評鑑作為設計前的基礎，讓工廠業主與設計師能夠理解何謂觀光工廠。第三章為轉型的設計方法，探討設計在工廠觀光化的前置作業，像是流程、主題風格與內容的規劃。第四章探討轉型時的設計執行，呈現對於工廠各區域的需求、限制與設計成果。第五章為結論，對於工廠觀光化的設計案所遇到的問題進行總結，並附上施工過程與評鑑前的最後樣貌之相關照片提供參考。

In recent years, factory tourism has been a new option for tourists in Taiwan. Under promotion of the government, more than one hundred local factories have undergone tourism development. The goal of this paper was to answer what factory tourism is and how a factory can benefit from proper designs in tourism development? This paper first introduced factory tourism and successful cases and then discussed industry-academy cooperation for development of factory tourism. Later, this study proposed a design process for factories undergoing tourism development to offer both factories and designers a reference on factory transformation. This study consisted of five chapters. The first chapter explained the motivation, objectives and limitation of this study. The second introduced tourism factory, including its definitions, current development, various viewpoints and assessments, to help factory owners and designers better understand this new form of tourism. The third chapter presented the method for designing factory transformation. The focus was placed on preparation tasks for factory transformation, including planning for processes, style, and other details. The fourth chapter discussed implementation of factory transformation designs. The needs of various sections of a factory, limitations, and design results were elaborated. The final chapter presented a summary of problems encountered in design projects along with photos shot during and after construction.
