公共行政學系的學生來源、學習表現與就業:以國立暨南國際大學公共行政與政策學系為例

摘要


高等教育是孕育知識、觀念和培育人才的重要場所,也是推動國家發展及競爭力的關鍵。公共行政相關學系成立宗旨大多期望為國家培養行政管理及政策分析的專業人才,或是具有社會關懷意識的公民特質,並為政府培養專業人才。本研究蒐集畢業生流向調查與學生相關資料,以國立暨南國際大學公共行政與政策學系學士班101~108學年學士班畢業生為對象,探究公共行政學系學生在背景來源、學習表現與就業之間的關聯性。研究發現性別、戶籍地、入學管道、身分別與工作狀況對於在校平均成績皆達統計顯著水準,其中女性、南部地區、繁星計畫入學、一般生與工作狀況為非就業中的在校平均成績表現較佳。另外,畢業學年度、性別、戶籍地、身分別、在校平均成績與在校非正式學習表現對於就業的薪資收入達統計顯著性。其中,男性在畢業滿一年的薪資收入顯著高於女性,戶籍地為國外、僑生身分、有參與社團活動以及有參與校外業界實習的學生會有比較高的就業薪資收入;而在校平均成績高及有擔任研究或教學助理的學生,反而呈現出較低的就業薪資收入。最後,本文依據研究發現提出討論與建議。

Higher education is an important place to nurture knowledge, ideas and talents, and it is also the key to promoting national development and competitiveness. The purpose of the establishment of the Department of Public Administration is mostly to cultivate professional talents in administrative management and policy analysis for the country, or civic characteristics with a sense of social care, and cultivate professional talents for the government. This research collects graduate flow survey and student-related data, and takes graduates from the 101-108 academic year of the Bachelor of Public Administration and Policy Department of National Jinan International University as the object to explore the background sources, learning performance and employment of students in the Department of Public Administration. correlation between. The study found that gender, household registration, enrollment channels, identity, and work status all have statistically significant effects on the average school performance. Among them, women, southern regions, Fanxing Program enrollment, general students, and work status are the average in non-employment school. Better performance. In addition, the graduating school year, gender, household registration place, identity, average grades in school and informal learning performance in school are statistically significant for the salary income of employment. Among them, the salary income of males after one year of graduation is significantly higher than that of females, and students whose household registration is abroad, who are overseas Chinese, who have participated in club activities and who have participated in off-campus industry internships will have higher employment salary income; Students with high grades and those who work as research or teaching assistants, instead, show lower employment salaries. Finally, this paper puts forward discussions and suggestions based on the research findings.
