主題式活動課程在國中學生學習成效之研究-以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題為例

摘要


本研究主要目的在探討「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題」主題式教學活動對國中七年級學生的學習成效,研究的範圍包含:國中學生對於生物科技概念的瞭解、生物科技應用在生態保育上的態度及對主題式教學活動的態度。本研究以台北市某國中七年級96位學生為研究樣本,前實驗設計為單組前測—後測設計,於教學前、後進行「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題概念成就測驗」、「生物科技應用在生態保育態度問卷」之測驗,並於資料蒐集後進行量的統計分析及質性分析,以評估學生在「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題」主題式教學活動實施後之學習態度。根據研究結果所獲,結論如下: 一、在接受「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題」教學後,可提升學生對於生物科技概念的瞭解。 二、在接受「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題」教學後,學生對於生物科技應用在生態保育持正面的態度。 三、學生對於「以生物科技解決養豬的環保問題」主題式教學活動持正向肯定的態度。 本研究之結果可以提供自然與生活科技領域之教學活動設計者、教學者或相關研究之參考。

The aim of this study was to explore the effect of a project activity course - an example of the environmental problems resolutions for pig cultivation with biotechnology on junior high school students’ learning achievements. The scope of research included the followings the cognition of biotechnology concept, the attitude to the application of biotechnology in ecological conservation, and the attitude to this project activity course. Subjects are 7th graders of a school in Taipei .The pre-experimental design is Single unit to pre-test and post-test. Before and after the teaching activities, the achievement test of ‘ the environmental problems resolutions for pig cultivation with biotechnology’ , and the questionnaire of ‘the application of biotechnology in ecological conservation’ were implemented. The quantitative statistical analysis and students’ attitude to this project activity course were acquired by using the qualitative analysis with the opinion table. The main findings of this study are as follows: 1.After the teaching of ‘ the environmental problems resolutions for pig cultivation with biotechnology’ activities, the students’ understanding of biotechnology concept is upgraded. 2.After the teaching of ‘ the environmental problems resolutions for pig cultivation with – biotechnology’ activities, the students have positive attitude to the application of biotechnology in ecological conservation. 3.After the teaching of ‘the environmental problems resolutions for pig cultivation with biotechnology’ activities, the students have positive attitude to this project activity course. The results of this study could be the reference for the designers of teaching activities, teachers or researchers of the Science and Technology Learning Area.
